What’s been going right for me lately:
- I’ve managed to become more consistent with the gym and my diet.
- I’ve been studying maths every week whenever I can.
- I’ve been going out more, working on my social skills, talking to strangers, listening more, and speaking more mindfully.
So, how can I take this further and become:
- Mentally stronger
- Lower in body fat percentage
- More comfortable with cold approaching
Any advice on how I can stay consistent and keep progressing?t.

Mentally stronger: push yourself into situations where you fail 50% of the time. Not 100%, that's easy. Not 0%, that's easy. 50%.
Lower bodyfat: Eat less calories than you use. You use TDEE (calculatos online) plus exercise. Eat 500 cals a day less than that, and you'll lose bf.
Cold approaching comfort:
This is somewhere between easy and brutal, depending who you are. Fundamentally you need your brain to disconnect all negative reactions from your sense of self, identity, attractiveness, confidence.
If you have zero emotional reaction to any conceivable thing that she says, or that her friend says, or that anyone watching might think, then you will be comfortable doing it.
You don't have to like being told to fuck off or ignored, but you do need to have very little emotional reaction to it, if you want to be comfortable.
Good news though: you don't need to be comfortable with it to be able to do it.

My best advice is stay away from people that don't have any ambition or are extremely negative. They will bring you down. Just avoid losers.
Only spend time on people who are striving to grow.

There is this childhood friend of mine who keeps saying like it's ok to be soft but I wanna be hard on myself. Hard when I fail or make wrong choices

A stationary bike, and/or a regular bike, makes a GREAT low impact cardio workout tool. I suggest look in the used market, as people often buy with high aspirations, the thing ends up gathering dust, and they reach a point where they just want or need the thing GONE and you can get it for pennies on the dollar. Swimming also makes a great workout, getting a membership at the local pool really helped when I was training for a high altitude Tough Mudder race at 50.
Jogging, particularly on pavement, often leads to long term shin and knee complications, so stick to grass or a dirt track if that becomes part of your workout.
Diet: Shit like high fructose corn syrup gets added to EVERY damn thing nowadays. Check ingredients, and commit to cutting out wide swaths of the Normie diet roster. Do without the likes of margarine and cut way down on dressinggs, gravy, and similar rmpty calorie adders.
Portion control, for example 2 slices of bread rather than 4 or 6 in a sitting, and fine grate carrots, cucumber etc to bulk up the 1 sandwich you're down to so you leave the table feeling full. .

Hey man thanks for the detailed answer: For now my diet is mainly eggs, brown rice protein, roasted chicken, oats, milk, chickpeas, mashed potatoes. I'd take 2 mashed potatoes at times go for omelettes and boiled eggs and sometimes add toast with tea too. Should I completely cut off white sugar

Thanks for knocking some sense into me man. Social media had skewed my sense of reality lots of work to be done

No problem I'll respond to the post itself later

Honestly dude, you're still carrying all of your bad habits from previous AskTRPs into this post.
1 you could have easily found the answer to all of these questions in the search bar in AskTRP and TheRedPill. The fact you didn't and expected an easy spoonfeed as if you're special and none of the old posts apply to you is deeply problematic
You don't want to put in the work and you want your hand held. You don't even trust yourself to use the search bar and think for yourself, and instead want 7 or so comments on one post instead of taking in the knowledge of hundreds of comments through search work. You're failing yourself by doing this and it's not how a man should conduct his growth and natural curiosity
2 post after post you want an answer other than upward growth and the discipline to do it. Unlike women who hardly have to do Jack shit for anything in life, if you're a man and you just consistently develop upwards, whether that growth is linear or exponential, you will see results
You strongly come across like you want a magical answer that takes you from step one to step 5 instantaneously. I can tell that discipline and patience bothers the shit out of you. You want someone to feed you a magic answer to skip past your self doubt and discomfort taking the time to improve
3 the answer is discipline. Honestly man you need to stop coming on here to be spoonfed. You're using AskTRP to validate your discomfort by disguising it as a question on what to do differently. You already know what to do, you just don't like it and still want to take the lazy way out
4 Use the search bar instead of posting next time. I seriously doubt you try and it shows in your questions, your mentality, and your results
You're doing a massive disservice to yourself with the way you prefer to grow mentally. Seek your own knowledge instead of relying on others for easily searchable material. You've been on AskTRP FAR TOO LONG to not have developed a habit of seeking information on your own by now

Completely understandable and agreeable. I was thinking there might be some shortcut.

Gains always decrease over time and fatigue always increases. Eventually plateaus will be hit, while motivation falters. If you don't accept this, it will a much harder experience when it comes to bite you in the back.
You need to monitor progress and be realistic when a plateau comes, reacting as early as possible. Rest is important. Vary things. Be prepared to leave something and come back to it rather than grind yourself hard for so long that you just quit it.
The lower body fat percentage thing is where you will need to actually stop at some point. Very low body fat percentages are not healthy. 15 is a pretty good target for life and health.
