My LTR of around 10 months is giving a presentation to her department at her university.
She used to fuck around with one of her undergrad assistants. He's a scrawny creepy little mexican fella. Not really sure why my idiot LTR dated him but whatever, this little mf has been trying hard to get back into her life. They broke up long before I even came into the picture. She had his number and social media blocked before I came into the picture.
He's reached out to her a few times during our relationship to try and get back with her, all times through a new email account. She always shows me the emails prior to deleting/blocking.
Back to my situation. Since it's a department thing, this little twerp will be there for sure. She hasn't brought this up yet probably to avoid me calling her out for being a stupid slut and opening her legs to him.
If I'm lucky, he'll just try to approach her before/after the presentation to try and talk or hug or something - im 100% certain that she'll ignore him when he does that.
But deep down, I have a gut-feeling that he's going to pull some sneaky shit like throwing an off-handed question at her during her defense.
My question is -- do i bother bringing this up to her?
I'm thinking something along the lines of "hey what are the odds that your ex will be there?", followed either by
A) "well you created the problem by dating him, you handle it". or B) "just ignore him, if he tries something i'll fix it".

Why do you even care? Just ignore it and don't bring it up. You'll just come off as insecure if you even mention this little twink.
If she starts talking about some interaction from the presentation with him, just use amused mastery. i.e. "Ohhh maybe I should set up a date for you two" and laugh/grin at her like he's zero threat.

Because you have a habit of losing frame like that? Look, you've already made her your girlfriend, which means through your actions, you've already accepted it. To then keep going on about it still, is just you being whiny/naggy. Don't talk like you have a boundary there, when you haven't done anything to enforce that boundary. Be congruent with what you say, and how you act. There's absolutely no reason for you to mate guard here, especially now, after the fact.
