Back in the day I was asking women dating advice coz I thought they know better. That is far away from the truth. A good friend made the same mistake yesterday but I don't know why they're doing this. Any clue?

No woman will EVER help a man who doesn't understand. They won't teach a beta how to act like an alpha because it ruins her chances of the coveted AF/BB combo.

When a man asked a woman for advice she gives advice that:
1: BENEFITS WOMEN 2: Makes her feel good.
"Just be yourself" is so that you stay unattractive with women and don't learn. It makes her feel good because she's pretending to say "you are good enough as you are", which is untrue because you are asking her for help and therefore you are not good enough.
"Do things for her" is obviously designed to benefit women.
"Be nice to her" is again obviously designed to benefit women.
Good advice is: "take no shit, treat her like you're better than her, she's a whore so she wants to be fucked, she likes muscles so go lift". But women never say this because they want to keep men beta and pretend they don't fuck alphas. In fact "we fuck alphas easily and quickly" is the big secret that women keep away from betas.
If you're asking dating advice you are clearly not attractive to women, so she instinctively protects women from you. She isn't going to help you fake being attractive because that would betray other women. This really is how they see/feel when men ask them for dating advice.
Self improvement is not in the female playbook.

For many girls, especially young girls, correct.
But, some, (some), get it and try to figure out why they don't get X kind of guy, or can't keep X kind of guy.
Some make adjustments for that, at least long enough to try to trap them, especially post wall.
Those are the really dangerous ones, the ones only interested in doing it to get what they want and long enough to fool the guy to get it. Then when they have the ring, the kid/s, no need to pretend anymore.

This is called the epiphany phase. It's the reason why you don't see young hoes on RPW and FDS, but it's full with wall hitting or postwall women.
They're not into self improvement, but sharing manipulation tactics to trap betas, and the more delusioned ones think it'll work on high value men.

It's been related on RP threads many times. Let me summarize.
Women don't want to help men, they have no respect for men who "just don't get it", and have no interest helping them.
Women also don't admit what "works" on them and not, like bad boys, hot guys,etc. Many say, I don't like muscular guys,etc. yup, ok.
If a guy is looking for advice on what works on women. You ask a guy who's successful with women, what does he/they do that works.

can be many possible reasons.
They may be embarrassed, like, damn, I do like bad boys, which they aren't supposed to.
They don't want to admit it to themselves, it hurts, so the hamster kicks in.
I've had girls say, they don't like muscular guys. In fact they did, what they later admitted is that they can't get that guy, or can't get that guy to commit to them, or he's too much maintenance, I have to take care of him or he'll just leave. The jerk Asshole has options and he knows it. Damn him, for being hot.
One of the main views on RP, it's what they do, not what they say, that matters.
