I’ve researched this as I think I have a victim mentality. However, everything I read says that the victim mentality is when you won’t take responsibility for your actions.
What if you think about a situation and you are 100% the victim?

Victim mentality = women are victims of a tyrannical patriarchy. With men it's more of a slave mentality. Slaves/men can't be victims, according to the gynocentric social order. So nobody cares if you're a victim. It's like a slave complaining to it's master that somebody stole it's property. It just gets ignored. But if the master's property gets stolen, there's hell to pay.

Realize that there are things not in your control. Then change things within your control. There's people in prison getting jacked right now.

Everyone is a victim of something. Victim mentality is just a debilitating way of thinking.
Consider how the world has changed. Before the 1980's, it was common for women in western countries who had been violently raped by an unknown attacker to not report the rape to police, because they were afraid that their husband/boyfriend would lose desire for them if he found out.
Rapists would then extort them by threatening the women they'd raped that they would tell everyone about the rape, thus soiling their reputation and making them damaged goods.
Now high-schoolers have flame wars about who is the biggest victim. Are Transracial Blacks more marginalized than Blacks? Who gets the most coveted index on the intersectionality scoreboard? Every girl that has a regret from Greek-Week files charges with the university to go after some chump they willingly slept with.
If you've been wronged, there's nothing wrong with taking an appropriate level of vengeance. But living like a victim, broken and defeated is a losing mentality.

You would have to describe the situation dude. I'd want revenge I guess, but hard to say based on some random hypothetical.
