I wouldn't say the girls get attracted by the man emotional control itself. I'd say they get attracted by the emotions the man make her feel. Riding the rollercoaster etc. And if the man is fluky and can't control his emotions he becomes predictable, like everyone else, and that doesn't communicate with a woman in an emotional level. When the man shows a superior quality tho, something a woman can never have, that unshakable emotional control, he becomes a mystery. The women can't figure him out anymore. Which is why emotional control for both you and her is so attractive. It is taking those erratic emotions and channeling it by someone far more competent.

Curious if anyone can make a post or comment on how one gains mastery of emotions. I understand that emotions shouldn't be something to be controlled in a sense. But the idea is to not let them take control and make decisions based on them. Just an area I find myself in lately.

I recognize all the time not to make decisions in certain moments as what I'm feeling right now will pass (i.e. sleep it off).

It's like the definition of courage: it's about having fear and controlling it. The guy that don't have any fear is not courageous, he's stupid.

Ive been dealing with this issue lately. I find myself being more aware and more critical of how emotional im being. Say I wake up one morning and dont immediately spring to my feet, ready to face the day. For a moment I think "do I really have to get out of bed?"

Its taken me a while to realize the importance of action. Just because you feel the urge to make a shitty decision, doesnt mean that you are fundamentally a shitty person. Its how you act that matters. Some days I would wake up with that "lets just stay in bed a bit longer" feeling and think "the fact that Im constantly urging myself to be lazy and do less means Im doomed to fail" or "man this is never gonna work, im just gonna end up going right back to being a faggot"

If you think that being stoic, developing mental toughness, etc. means that you will enter a state unfettered by the detritus of emotion, then you are sorely mistaken. Its more of a desensitization. In actuality the more stoic you become, the more emotional turmoil you are going to invite into your life while simultaneously feeling that the emotional turmoil has diminished.

The same idea applies to the accumulation of proficiency in any skillset. Lifting is a good example. The scrawny kid who's never lifted views the 20lb dumbells with a completely different set of eyes than the experienced powerlifter.

Very similar to how pain and discomfort is just like an emotion. It's very masculine to override nature's safeguards to become a bit masochistic when you have a reason to do so. Cold showers are great for this.

Women can't control their emotions

Only someone who has never met a woman before would disagree with that. Since I've started swallowing the Pill, I've paid more attention to people's behaviour (might aswell do something with all that time I'm spending STFUing). The difference between men and women is astounding. Have you ever seen a moody man? Me neither. But a moody woman (or extremely beta man)? All the time. It's like every emotion is exponentially amplified.

As man, I could describe 99% of my emotional state with the word "meh". Not because I can't feel emotions, just because I don't need to express them all the time.
