Now I'll start off by saying I'm 19 and have only been visiting this sub for a few months. I'm working on my SMV and have slowly but surely been redpilling most if not all my male friends.
What I mean by advertising is that if you've got it, flaunt it. If you're any of the following: tall, in shape, rich, have status, travel, cultured, educated, etc.
ADVERTISE THAT SHIT. Make sure anyone you're interested in knows it off the bat. There is however neuance. There's a fine line between wearing all Gucci and being comfortable at the office/school on your phone with a LV belt. There's a fine line between wearing a tank top and wearing a tight dress shirt to show off those gains.
Women do it. You're well aware of that. Social media is literally engineered for them to receive validation from both sexes by flaunting it if they've got it. Young girls post their ass, MILFs post their "cute nails" on the steering wheel on a benz.
You do it too! You got that shit you flaunt that shit, keeping in mind that a fine line does exist between showing off and begging for attention.
I'm not particularly tall, only 5'10 and haven't ever put it in my tinder bio. I got a few good matches a week. Now? I put it in there on a whim and 3 days later with the same photos and bio I get 4x as many matches, all quality girls too since I'm not afraid to swipe left on a ton of chicks. And you bet your ass once I have my gym gains I'll be showing that off discretely.

This is a very fine line to walk that takes experience to truly master. The key to all this is SHOW, don't tell. But show in a way that lets others know you appear oblivious to your status rather than attention seeking. This will really turn on women and impress men BUT if you go around talking about your new PR at the gym you'll do yourself no favors. Everyone does this shit. That girl who just got back from a mission trip and her Facebook is her holding an African infant? She knows at some level that by plastering those pictures it will show how good a person she is while leaving enough plausibility that it's just "how she is".
Some ways to do this as a guy:
you're fit, have a six pack, and want people to know it. Don't post fucking shirtless selfies or gym pics on instagram/dating apps. You'll be laughed at. Do show pictures of you shirtless engaging in another activity (rock climbing, beach volleyball, surfing, whatever). This shows you have the goods but aren't a tool about it.
you have muscle? Don't wear a tank top around like some try hard. Wear a nice/tightish fitting vneck. This is the equivalent to girls putting light makeup on to look like they don't have makeup on. It's small effort in showing off that you're naturally in shape
you're rich? Don't talk about it. Don't talk about your income, don't talk about your savings account size, etc. no one with wealth does this and only people who grow up poor or have insecurities do this. DO talk about things clearly reserved for upper middle class status. So talk about taking exotic trips, either abroad or at a nice ski resort. Not in a braggart way but subtly showing off your not poor.
educated? Talk about ideas, not your degrees.
Agree that advertising is great and everyone does it subtly. The key word is to be subtle and humble about it.

My profile doesn't say I like to travel, I show it off with my pics. I'm fit but I don't have a shirtless pic, I wear fitted clothes. I like to hike, rock climb, I run my own business, and I'm into photography. I show all that through my pictures. In my bio I say I'm laid back and chill, I'm looking for someone of the same.
I get probably 20-30 matches a day.

Sounds like dudes should but up pics in their dress shirts on Social media posing next to their sports car or what. I would not flaunt anything material / about having money. That only attracts gold diggers plus in their head puts you in the provider category. What you ccould/should flaunt is status like being "famous" even if it's just locally.

Fair point. I think most men don't care much about advertising. Definitely, not nearly as much as women. Women would be leagues above us in terms of this shit.
Most men tend to be egotistic, they tend to think that there positive features are easily grasped by others. Guess what? Everyone is too fuckin busy in their own shit and hardly give a second thought about others. So when they do give a second thought, your prominent advertised features stood stand out among the rest.
On a more subtle level, women's hypergamy is built for this kind of shit. The more showoff you are, the more chicks you will attrct. Of course, overdoing it will doom you. But not doing it at all means you are awesome but your first impression sucks and no one gives you a second chance.

First it can come off as desperate, look at my car, or look how tall I am.
I remember one time a guy kept trying to point out how tall he was, this was the dumbest thing he could do, it immediately eliminated him, but not just that, but his friends totally realized the douchebag thing he was doing (comparing his taller height to others and people noticed) and started excluding him.
Showing girls my sportscar never helped. Richness is apparently not that rare depending on your city or country. In other cultures, say South America or the East, being rich will bring golddiggers like no other and girls will be all over you. This is not true in Western world anymore. Women have their own money and they are looking for that hot suave prince charming (I guess unless you are a billionaire and can take them to limousine or lamborghini rides, your idea of "rich" will not help you).
Women show off because they can and guys reward it and so do their friends on social media. Men show off and it doesn't usually help them.
You are right that if you have say muscles, you shouldn't wear baggy clothes, and so you are thus advertising subtly.

To be fair to OP, he did emphasize that you shouldn't show off stuff if you look desperate.
He is more about showing off in a subtle little ways. You can show your gains not by lazy bathroom mirror shots, but indirectly like say in a beach, swimming pool, doing manual work in your house, or playing a sport. These places have established context of showing skin, so 99% of people won't take it the wrong way. Hell, I got called out by my friends because I WORE a shirt in beach.
From the red pill literature I have learned so far, its all about waddling through the mainstream media with your own tools and use the mainstream media trends to your advantage.
Well, like you said, if you think showing sportscar is going to bring all the girls, thats never going to happen. The "gold digger" woman is a specific type of woman who is more motivated economically than any other thing you offer.

It's cause if the chick is shorter than you AND you look good, she'll swipe right no problem. But she's gotta know that she's shorter. I should've clarified that most of my matches are with good looking short girls, like 5'1 to 5'7. I haven't had lower than that and taller than that probably isn't interested.
The last part of what I said does have a condition on it though. Like I mentioned I'm 19, chicks my age don't give a singular fuck about education, intelligence, etc. Money, looks, muscle and height. That is it with no exceptions. The younger you are the more height will help you. It tapers off with age but believe me when I say chicks could be fucking 60 and asking for no-one under 6'0.

You can give all the advice you want, avoid using the red pill as your main language with them, avoid as much about the red pill as you can.
There are just plenty of people that hate this place and plenty of good reasons to do so.

Learn that the hard way last week. Went to an event (not job related), got IOIs like crazy from a girl (never happened to me, so I had a chance to exploit that), but I went too aggressive and failed to k-close. Later on she "felt uncomfortable", staff listened only to her story and chose to kick me out of the event, no questions asked.
Fortunately she was HB3 at most (I know, my standards were below the ground then...) and I personally came out stronger due to that.

You are absolutely correct. To be clear, I'm only discussing what women want and how they act with my friends. I don't think any of them are anywhere near ready to start approaching girls. Rather, I am encouraging them to better themselves. Eat better, workout, study, etc. Women will come later. For now, I just want them to know how currently hypergamy rules.

The truth is you should be looking for a woman to mate with and raise good children, but the masses don't deserve that, but we all are the masses and we all think we deserve that, but only hard working polite women deserve that same effort and effect from men, and most of them just don't make the cut anymore.
