A tremendous fallacy within our sphere is the belief that female art is entirely worthless. This is not true! Okay, it's sometimes true- yes, many such cases- but it's not always true. While they aren't typically brilliant thinkers (outside of a handful of female autists) nor are they courageous- and the best art takes courage- women certainly are emotional.
Female art, similar to all forms of female expression, is written in the language of emotion, and in that sense, can be interesting and powerful- however, it must be decoded correctly.
Take Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know"- a fantastic example of what was coming out of the halcyon days of Mid-1990's alt-rock.... but can we take what she's saying at face value?
My friends, certainly not!
Taking the surface narrative of the song at face value would have you believe her ex was a total dick who betrayed his idyllic girlfriend:
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me
You'd hold me until you died
'Til you died, but you're still alive
WOW, what a liar! At least she'd have you think so- with what she's literally saying. However, digging a little deeper reveals a value conflict between her and "Mr. Duplicity" (I'm rolling my eyes, Alanis) that would ultimately nullify any promises her Chad made her:
I want you to know, that I am happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in a theater?
Does she speak eloquently
And would she have your baby?
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother
And thus reveals the genuine problem with their relationship- anything else in the song is noise and whining.
Alanis taunts him with her perversions, asking if the new woman would go down on him "in a theater," when what he values more than kinky sex is a woman who is ready to move forward into motherhood- anything else to this man is irrelevant. And that's all that needs to be said about the relationship's end. Alanis reveals herself to be a modern woman with a preference for abortion ("the cross I bear that you gave to me" seems to reference an aborted pregnancy), while he was a TRAD CHAD and wanted children. End of story.
To be honest here, this layered narrative was most likely intentional on the part of the artist- like a bank robber dying to be caught- but serves as a wonderful example of understanding female communication, or, the emotional language of women. Alanis leaves the attentive listener enough breadcrumbs figure out the real story, the very rational cold reality of her breakup, but couches it in her own emotional vomit.
Understand this- while women have a fuzzy relationship with the truth (another topic for another time), they aren't always necessarily lying; women have a fuzzy relationship with reality. Women cannot distinguish actual reality from their own emotional interpretation of reality, and this is always present in their language and communication. This is not necessarily fiendish or manipulative (although, of course, sometimes it is)- this is female nature. Reality may be adjacent to their emotional ranting, it can usually be found as though you were solving a riddle or conducting an investigation- through clues, observations, and innuendos.
Play this game at home, with any woman you talk to- as they come to terms with their emotions through ranting and raving, read between the lines and you can usually summarize the reality what they're saying in a single sentence or two.

Not that I ever analyze music lyrics but I always thought "the cross I bear that you gave to me" just meant like an STD or a broken heart. Never looked at it as an abortion but seems right now that you mention it.

It's a very common theme in TRP. Women's reality is based on their emotional state. If a woman feels a certain way, she rationalizes it as being caused by reality.
Why would she feel angry if you didn't do something to make her angry?
Why would she feel sad if you didn't do something to make her sad.
Her own autonomy is a foreign concept to her. These emotional realities reflect the real reality outside her (in her mind).
Which is why cluster B personality disorders are so prevalent and dangerous in women. When her emtional state is so far removed from actual reality that she makes up conversations and hallucinates events to hold you responsible.
And as always, it's the core of my light-switch-effect hypothesis:

CainPrice 5y ago
This right here is the key to dealing with women.
It's not really a conscious thing, but women, at least subconsciously, don't believe in an objective reality. Reality is what they perceive and what they feel. Whatever mental filters they use to perceive life and however they feel about what they perceive, that is reality to them. And it's not that they're too stupid or too emotional to comprehend otherwise - they know that other people perceive, think, and feel different things than they do sometimes. But as far as a woman is concerned, that's just someone else's opinion. The fact that there is an objective correct reality and their feelings might not reflect that doesn't cross their mind.
For a woman, how she feels is reality. More than that, how a woman feels about things is literally her identity. How she feels and what she feels things about is literally what makes her different from other women. It's her identity.
This is why women take it so badly when you argue with them or try to explain a different viewpoint to them. Because when you try to explain to a woman that one of her feelings isn't reality, in her universe, you are literally attacking her - her very identity - not just attacking an idea she had. This is why when people disagree with a woman, she is convinced that they hate her, rather than recognizing that they simply have a different idea. Because a woman's feelings are her identity, and if you disagree with something she feels, you are attacking her identity, and she expects you know that - which is why if you try to argue with her, she's going to ask you why you're being so mean to her and why you hate her. Because you are attacking her, personally.
This is also why it's pointless to ever argue with a woman. She knows how she feels is right, so if you start using a lot of words and logic to try to explain something different to her, she is going to see that as you trying to trick and manipulate her. In fact, the more words, logic, attention, and investment you put into an argument, the more right she'll feel that she is, because why else would you be working so hard to trick her.

Needs to be expanded on as post. great job
hivro2 5y ago
this was one of those posts that i had to actually sit back from after reading and just let it set in.
A+

i'm fresh back into TRP territory and desperately needed to read something like this because in the past i was always typically the long response trying to show logic to women.. its impossible

so then would you suggest to let her vent to you but being only selectively honest? what is the move from this point

This explanation blew my mind actually..
Seriously.
Much love, brother!

You should flesh this idea out some more with personal examples and make a separate post

It sounds like you have read the way of the superior man.
ZeppKfw 5y ago
This really hit me because I just argued with my little sister a couple days ago when she was being stubborn and not doing what she's told to do. I realized arguing with her was so pointless she wouldn't even acknowledge the things I told her. I had to resort to me appearing that I was accepting her decision.

And this is why they are retarded. Seriously, unless it's light banter I can't stand dealing with them.
Dawnguards 5y ago
Women have been conditioned to have their way all the time. Its not mens fault that women stopped responding to reality.
This is simply an apologetic post, which apparantly praised by so called red pilled men.
alifaraz21 5y ago
a billion percent, but what is the solution to this then? Is there really any way to tell them that they are wrong? Or even more so that disagreement over one idea is not the end of the world and is actually healthy.
Field example:
I take a German course, there's a Russian girl with me in the class. We often tend to disagree on what's wrong or not, sometimes she's right and sometimes I am. Every time, however, she feels personally attacked and tries her best to prove herself wrong.
TLDR: How do you convince women that a discussion is healthy and doesn't mean the end of the world?
CainPrice 5y ago
Don't "convince" a woman of anything. You're playing the game with women, not against them.
Don't "discuss" or debate or argue anything with women. That's no fun. Why are you so invested in being right over some woman? That's not very manly. That's actually kind of womanly.
If some Russian girl insists that the proper German conjugation form of some verb is something wrong, just smile and say "Whatever you say", then make fun of her accent and ask her to get drinks with you tonight.
Girls don't live in the real universe. They live in the the fun universe where things just sort of happen and they react based on how they feel. They unconsciously expect real men to know and understand that and make their nights fun. Sitting around debating German with some Russian girl isn't fun.

That's for the best. Reddit gold doesn't benefit somebody who's content is appreciated. Reddit gold gives money to Reddit. Reddit has enough money, and Reddit's owners are dipshits.

This is misleading. Men don't hold an actual objective vision of reality either. I thought the men on this sub loved to wax philosophical? Did you know it was a man (Descartes) who invented the philosophical doctrine of solipsism? I dare you to say that Descartes was not a brilliant thinker. Another prominent philospher, Immanuel Kant, came up with the "rose-colored glasses" theory. Basically Kant theorized that there is not a single person on this earth who can understand the true meaning of reality. If a person is born with rose colored glasses strapped to their face, they will always view the world to be tinted, and they never will be able to step outside of their perception and view reality as it really is. This is a metaphor for the human condition. No finite individual with a finite mind is able to comprehend the true nature of reality. The men on this sub are arrogant and hypocritical. You all can't claim to be intellectual and philosophical and ignore these fundamental philosophical concepts. A man is no more able to view reality as it truly is than a woman can. Sure, some philosophers claim that one can transcend the boundaries of our minds and bodies through pure reason. However, this assumes that the reasoning abilities of a limited creature such as a human being are themselves infinite. Being able to "reason" may be just another way that human beings try to make sense of the shadows they see. Humans may never be able to step out of the cave and really see the sun. Something to consider.
MattyAnon Admin 5y ago
Men are vastly more open to logic and truth than women. Women directly profit from lying about their nature and about the world: it's why most of the world doesn't believe in hypergamy. Women have suppressed it for so long that noone acknowledges blatant truth.
It's why women especially hate TRP: it exposes truth.
When women talk about men, men will admit to the true parts of what she's saying. When men talk about women they object to all of it - in fact they object to the very idea of even the concept of truth being applied to them.
The special privilege when desire for themselves is to be so unaccountable for their actions that the very concept of truth must be suppressed. "Girl, you did this" / "That's just your opinion" / "No, this is a fact, here is the proof" / "There is no such thing as truth!"
Don't be ridiculous.
Men and women are different. Get used to it already.
xjx547 5y ago
I would argue that Math, Physics, and the Scientific Method (Heck even a cursory understanding of literature and history) are excellent frameworks to objectively determine reality. But your argument is true. Most men do not hold an objective vision of reality, because they've been cucked and mislead by feminine brainwashing that emphasizes "feelings" and "identity" above actual observations, science, and a willingness to face uncomfortable truths about ourselves and our beliefs.
RedDespair 5y ago
Men at least question their reality and become philosophers. Women never consider that another one exists

There's a huge difference in not having the mental discipline for objectivity and actively blurring out reality with hysterics.

And all of that is......reality......described by men.

Bear-With-Bit 5y ago
I doubt you've been in a relationship with a woman that lasted longer than a football season.
MakoShark93 5y ago
A lot of the guys here appear to be at war with themselves or experiencing/working through some inner trauma. I believe a lot of what the redpill states is true, however -- one should not be completely dismissive of women. A lot of the guys here just want to be the "guy who gets all the bitches" and to be such, they must create a "frame" (a mental model) to support this as true because metaphysics (though they may bristle at that word) is real. Basically, they have to become somewhat sociopathic on some level. The thing about it is that there are some badass women in the world (who are straight) and they are intelligent. Maybe I'm not jaded enough yet. Who knows? I thank God for the red pill.
Trisheik 5y ago
You hit the nail on the head. I don't like these broad generalizations of women, either. There's plenty of reasonable and very intelligent women out there. One of my favorite quantum theories I've learned about recently, Noether's Theorem, was come up by a women and I found it absolutely fascinating. I think women are more susceptible to being governed by their emotions compared to men just as we, as men, are more susceptible to being governed by pure logic, which is just as bad imo, compared to women.
[deleted]
DancesWithPugs 5y ago
You could look at the Gettier problem, is knowlege 'justified true belief' or do we need a better concept?
CainPrice 5y ago
It's not that men know the real truth and women are oblivious to it. Men often don't know the objective reality either.
But despite our reputation for being the stubborn, difficult sex, it's actually easier to get a man to consider alternate viewpoints than a woman, because men don't view a discussion of different ideas as a personal attack on their very person.
That's not exactly true, though. Some men do. Some men are extremely invested in their emotions and ideas and cannot withstand anybody questioning them and view that as a personal attack. They are completely closed to ever considering that how they feel might be wrong. The most effeminate, blue pill, modern, non-masculine men you know are like this. The more womanly a man is, the less open he is to ideas that contravene his worldview.
You might be thinking to yourself "Some of the men here at The Red Pill are just like that", and you would be right. Some men here are more womanly than they're willing to admit. But hopefully they're on the path toward fixing that.
magx01 5y ago
My brother. Once this mode is engaged, he might as well have tits and a sperm receptacle.
Kpwn88 5y ago
According to who? Women? Yeah and I'm not just stubborn and difficult, I'm also a jerk and an asshole, too. Funny enough, she keeps crawling back for the D.
Ever heard the term, "psychological projection"? You should look it up.
CainPrice 5y ago
Definitely. The most selfish women in the world tend to think that all men are selfish. The most difficult women think men are stubborn assholes. The sluttiest women who have piles of casual sex think that all men are players who have loads of casual sex.
Women, despite their unearned reputation for empathy and high emotional IQ, have a really, really hard time comprehending how other people experience life differently than they do. Show me a woman who thinks all men are assholes, and you're showing me an asshole with breasts. The idea that any man she meets might think, live, and experience things differently than she does and have perfectly real and valid motivations in life that differ from hers is something she just doesn't understand. Yes, on paper, on a purely intellectual level, she understands that people are different, but she doesn't actually -understand- what it is to be different than she is. Women lack empathy.
Obediah_Stane 5y ago
Agreed, the only winning move is not to play.
Kpwn88 5y ago
Wrong. Dodging bullets isn't red pill. Knowing how to stop them is.
There is no spoon.
[deleted]
CainPrice 5y ago
The better move is to play with her, not against her. Once you understand a woman, you can use that to be the man of her dreams she can't wait to go home with. Instead of trying to convince a woman she's wrong about you, make her feel right about you. That's a lot easier.
TheTrenTrannyTrain 5y ago
Interesting idea, did you have a post to expand on that?

And that’s why they must’nt be allowed to vote or hold positions of power in business, government, or any other sphere of public life.
norsegaud 5y ago
Here is a perfect example of this: http://dlvr.it/Qsg25w
Yakatonker 5y ago
Better example is the hideous goblin(Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) with an economics degree shamelessly peddling communism.
She's by design meant to capitalize on the newly created racial demographic of the US, more specifically to their women. Which is essentially a colossal fucking welfare grab.
CainPrice 5y ago
I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. Getting large blocks of the population (both male and female) to vote a certain way based on identity politics is how politicians stay in power. Being a good candidate that intellectually and rationally appeals to a tiny number of logical and educated men who care about issues is hard. Getting large numbers of women, or Christians, or gun nuts, or minorities to vote for you for emotional reasons is easy.
DistinctDingo 5y ago
It's not hard because they have similar values, not because of herd mentality, women still shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Imperator_Red 5y ago
I'm not saying it's a winning election strategy to tell women they shouldn't be allowed to vote. I'm just describing reality as I see it. Obviously such a change would have to be brought about through extra-legal means.
CainPrice 5y ago
Women voting isn't a woman-power thing. It's a man-power thing. The men in power figured out how to get the women to help they stay in power. Giving women more power wasn't a mistake made by rich men. It was deliberate.
Women buy shit and women vote, and women are easy to manipulate. The richest and most successful men aren't hindered by women having power. They use this to their advantage.
The system really isn't that bad. Instead of fantasizing about some redneck blue collar anarchist/capitalist/libertarian uprising, become a successful man within the system. That's a lot easier.
Imperator_Red 5y ago
Ugh, more idiotic conspiracy theories about the shadowy men in power doing nefarious things. No dumbass, they just thought it sounded like a nice idea to expand democracy, plus women were agitating and they got sick of the nagging. That's all it was. Why must people's brains constantly search for overly-complex answers and create false conspiracies?
Never said anything like this. Seems like you're itching to put some conservatives in their place and projecting the argument you want to have before it even happens. Fuck off back to purple pill debate.
NohoTwoPointOh 5y ago
It isn't shadowy or any sort of conspiracy. Simply look at your local politician. He or she cares about votes and dollars. Both help him or her stay in power. This crosses party and dogmatic lines. A good example is how lefty liberals use minorities to do the same.
The endgame is always winning the election with more votes.

Kpwn88 5y ago
Your tinfoil hat is obviously defective.
So are you jewish, female, or just a simple minded idiot that truly believes that a small group of powerful people wouldn't actually conspire on how to keep, maintain, and expand their power using female nature as one of the many weapons in their arsenal to break up the family unit, creating dysfunctional children that will grow up misguided and dependant on government assistance? Yeah, seems so far fetched it might as well be lumped in with flat earth and alien UFOs.

Ugh, I remember the "Estrogen Rock" fad. Young women of this era would turn the radio up for songs like this with a loud, "YEAAAAAH!"
I remember asking what was so great about this song.
"Because she's a STRONG WOMAN! She's not taking ANY SHIT!"
But she lost the guy, and he's not going back to her.
Music of this genre never had an actionable or helpful lesson or take home message. Every song was like a temper tantrum, with guitars.
YNGBLOOD13 5y ago
I have an interesting situation pertaining to this, my plate goes “I don’t think I can ever fall in love with you because you literally do not give a fuck” I thought it was interesting because she wouldn’t drop the L bomb without her actually feeling that.
SemiLoquacious 5y ago
Another example is the song Flawless from Dorothy
I mean, if a man is this horrible to you then you shouldn't be this caught up over him after the break up. Clearly, she got dumped and is projecting the events through the darkest filters that her mind can provide

"You married someone half your age" well shiit sugar, that's how the game goes. You writing this song isn't gonna make him fall in love with you again
JamesSkepp 5y ago
If I swing a baseball bat in a busy mall and hit someone in the face, does it change the fact of a broken nose if I had malicious intent or was I merely expressing my emotions in that moment?
IOW if you get done over by a woman the lack of intent is beneficial only to your understanding, but doesn't change the fact that you got done over.
Also, it's better to assume intent, b/c intent means she thought about it, and thinking about it means she has her own plans for you, and HER plans for you are NEVER to your own benefit.

In today's music all you will hear is rationalizations of their shitty character judgement of men and bad decisions into them being the ones playing these "fuckboys" or vulnerable victims. That's how advanced made up social conventions of a primary feminist society are.
Memo_From_Turner 5y ago
Yeah, look no further than Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”. Garbage song that was all over the radio earlier this year, but so unintentionally Red Pill:
A real showcase of their incredible well of self-regard and strong character judgement. If this is the kind of man they worship and get addicted to, why the fuck should any man commit, treat them well, talk with them about their fee fees
vfb14 5y ago
That's a great example of an alpha widow pining for her alpha. The reason that these songs resonate so well among women is because at some point in life, most women have been widowed by a strong lasting impression of an alpha or the cock carousel.

rustyspurs87 5y ago
I mostly read the New King James, I also like the New Living Translation for easier reading. As well as the original King James for when I really want to dig in and study.
SemiLoquacious 5y ago
I have an Oxford study bible, I think that's the new American revised edition.
KJV is the Chad bible. Look into the differences between the Textus Receptus and Nestle text. The KJV is a translation of the former, the NKJV translates the latter. As a result, I think it is dishonest to claim the NKJV has any bearing on the KJV.
Here's one major difference. In the KJV, Jesus touches someone and makes them "whole." In the NKJV, Jesus touches someone and makes them "healed" or "well." There's a big difference between being made whole and being made healed.
magx01 5y ago
I disagree with your assessment of the song. One example is the cross she bears being abortion- pretty sure that's the emotional scars after the breakup.

The "Chad" in this instance is Dave "cut. it. out." Coulier.
Not wholly relevant, but he was the center of this emotional outburst. This album was about him and her "former affatuation junkie" album was all about how it's not about him.
