38th Law: "Think as you like but Behave like others"
If you make a show of going against the times, flaunting your unconventional ideas and unorthodox ways, people will think that you only want attention and that you look down upon them. They will find a way to punish you for making them feel inferior. It is far safer to blend in and nurture the common touch. Share your originality only with tolerant friends and those who are sure to appreciate your uniqueness.

I've already found myself urged to make arguments with people on social media, but it's truly not worth it. Many people are lost in their own personal biases and won't agree with logic, especially not after last night's heartbreaking loss. People (women especially) lash out when their FEELINGS are hurt. It's not worth getting yourself into trouble over.

Stay the course.

Every time I feel the urge to respond to social media misinformation I remember that the person is only virtue-signaling. Anything that impedes their signaling for validation will be turned against me, even if it is respectful, logical, and supported by evidence.
The poster's goal isn't to find truth, but to signal others to validate them. When everyone is doing this it creates an open exchange of validation.
RP teaches us to only find validation from within.
greatslyfer 7y ago
Yep to me it's very likely that they're doing it for the validation.
Tells a lot about the person, always lying to conform with others and how they're mentally weak. The mentally weak part probably translates to other parts of their lives.
haxurmind 7y ago
That's why I self sensor some of my own posts, is it meaningful or just virtue signalling.
On this post, I submitted it as a personal anecdote that shows support of, and agreement with, the views in your post.

For all the talk about Beta-sation and gynocentrisism and pussyhood; there seems to be a lot of people on here butthurt over words.
Did we forget about Frame, about not being made to jump through hoops and enter 'her' frame?
[deleted] 7y ago
If there's one reality that last night laid brutally bare, it's this:
You can easily surround yourself with media and people and pundits that parrot your views back at you, and you'll be very comfortable and get the warm and fuzzies every time you look at your Facebook feed.
But cruel, ugly reality has a way of kicking down the door and rearranging your shit. And if you're not prepared it can be extremely unsettling.
The people I know who are taking this election the hardest are the ones who circulate Huffington Post links like candy; post the latest SNL/John Oliver skits ridiculing Trump voters to their social feeds; and generally consume a diet of overwhelmingly one-sided information.
If only they had spent a little more time trying to understand and exercise compassion towards the average Trump voter—rather than burrowing into little silos—then I guarantee the night's result wouldn't be so earth-shattering.
As pragmatists we are best advised to just play along. I'm not interested in stirring up shit for no reason other than to get into fights. Waste of energy.
All of this is, of course, RP 101: Accepting reality as it is, not as you want it to be. But last night was just such a phenomenal and powerful exposition of this idea.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
Who is the average trump voter, and can the people you are talking about relate to them? The trump voters in my family have tended to be openly racist, and revel in pushing that fact in other peoples faces. I am not unkind to them, despite my growing frustration that these people are related to me, and so clearly proud of their ignorance, and bigotry. Please explain to me how I am to exercise compassion for people that so clearly hate.
SetConsumes 7y ago
All Americans are racist, but to different degrees.
I met many Trump supporters. Tend to be more working class.
The Hillary supporters are all UMC.
Weird isn't it. The poor support the rich, the almost rich support the poor.
But it makes sense too. UMC is the most indoctrinated into the system as they have the most power out of the non upper class, and the most benefits of being in the system. By helping the poor, they feel good and right.
[deleted] 7y ago
I'm a college educated black male who voted for Trump.
Disciple_of_Libertas 7y ago
Yo, you got any of them rare Pepe's? ;)
infiniteslinky 7y ago
Not so weird. The poor are easy targets. They typically lack the education of the middle class, and are easily distractable. Rhetoric works on them: "Change We Can believe in", "Make America Great Again". They follow who "feels" right. The middle class have some education. They have just a little bit to lose. The upper class puts the burden of paying for the system on them, because they have more resources to control & bamboozle the poor with issues like abortion or that vegetable woman and life support from a few years back. The poor, who don't pay anything anyway, are perpetually used as pawns in this struggle between the middle and upper class against the other to try and shirk paying for the system.
tallwheel 7y ago
You're absolutely right. But I would add that the UMC is equally (or arguably even more) susceptible to rhetoric that "feels" right. Both sides are so easily manipulated, and the democrats major failing this time was not nominating someone who could fully harness the feels of the entire UMC to a great enough extent.

Most people i know that voted for Hillary are misandrists and rub it in peoples faces. See it's easy to label the voters as something but it's never the caricature that's real. Most Trump supporters stayed quiet
infiniteslinky 7y ago
Maybe you could describe how most people you know hate men. The Trump voters I know in person are two of my cousins, and I regularly hear the racist stuff they say, and the arguments they pick with people because of their abrasive views.
Lvl10Bard 7y ago
Maybe you could describe how most of your family are openly racist.
monstrogoec 7y ago
The thing is it doesn't really matter. This is all anecdotal evidence. They're two out of all the Trump voters, too small of a sample to draw the conclusion that most of Trump voters are like them.

One of the many incredible things Trump has proven in his victory in this election is that the laws of power are overrated at best, bullshit at worst. How do any of those things make him RP?? Any rich guy who gets a 10 million dollar starting loan and constant bail outs from his father can become rich and get as many young model girl friend's as he wants, that doesn't make him RP. Look at Dan Bilzerian who does jack shit with his life and has beautiful women flocking to him. Money attracts women, its pretty simple. And Bilzerian is in no way RP, he constantly responds to hate comments on his facebook page by saying how many women he has sex with like its the only thing that matters in this world. You clearly do not know what being an RP man even means.

That may be true, but his plan of creating a 35% tariff on imports is only going to impede trade, increase the prices of products for the average consumer in America, and reduce the buying power of the American dollar immensely. Actually, you know what, ignore this post. Go and spout your political views like there's no tomorrow. You know why? Because that's how you learn the
hardbest way to always follow this rule.Politics is exactly how I learned to shut the fuck up when my views oppose many surrounding me. I loved to debate, not just to share my views, but to win arguments. And I was actually pretty good at it. But the problem is, then I started to find myself quite often in situations where the rules of debate and of basic respect no longer applied. Where I previously could expect to argue with people who would hear my side if I heard theirs, I started to face a lot more people who would just gang up on me and shame, mock, or insult me for holding such "unacceptable" views.
So I learned fast to shut up and spot those who didn't seem totally bought into the whole vitriolic circle jerk, then speak to them carefully and one on one on the issue. But seriously, this is something everyone should learn the reason why for themselves
Betterthanuatlife 7y ago
Everyone I've seen on Facebook who are upset about this are dumb bimbos, bluepillers, feminists, and pseudo-intellectual neckbeards. They have no logical argument as to why though when I've seen them debate people in their comments, only emotional shouting like "OH mah gawd, he's literally Hitler and a sexist, racist bigot!" There's no point in arguing against them, they're idiots.
[deleted] 7y ago
I'm an independent, I have conservative views mixed in with liberal views but also just views of my own in general that I just believe to be basic common sense and human empathy. I voted Green Party simply because I think there needs to be a 3rd party represented at presidential debates and covered more in general. simply choosing between vanilla and chocolate is unacceptable, maybe I want strawberry, maybe I want cookie dough. But to be told it's either this or that, is just wrong, and that is the system as a whole.
My biggest issue with trump isn't the racist rhetoric (and there is plenty, but whether he means to say it or not, a lot of his supporters are choosing to misinterpret or interpret correctly his words to fit their racist, ignorant views, kind of like they do with the bible, because all those die hard christians don't even comprehend the bible, they are brainwashed). No, the biggest and most concerning issue with trump, and a lot of conservatives, is their outright denial in climate change. Maybe they don't read scientific studies, with the data to back it up, maybe they don't feel it because they are in states where the weather stays relatively the same all year round. I am from the Northeast, and I don't even need to read a study to know that climate change is a real and concerning thing. Last January and February, I was wearing short sleeves outside and felt warm, think about that for a second. Those are the coldest months in the Northeast and have been for decades upon decades, so why all of a sudden do people feel like its fall or spring in the middle of the winter? Climate change is very real, and businesses won't be around to prosper and people won't be around to work for those business, if we do not take care of our environment. Polar bear and bee populations are decreasing at alarming rates, would you just chalk that up to a coincidence? Quite frankly, I think if someone doesn't believe in climate change, it's because they are a fuckin moron or corrupt. It's that simple, there is no in between.
Another issue I have with trump, is that he will pander to corporations, that continue to rape and pillage the land and let the working people deal with the consequences. Towns across the nation are having their water supplies tainted because of drilling, water supplies being compromised because we want to provide bottled water. Food corporations mislabeling products on purpose to increase their profits. Just look into the food you are eating, where you are getting your chicken or beef from, it's disgusting how these animals live in their own feces, are given unnatural hormones to grow faster, and then we eat these things and wonder why cancer and heart disease increase every year. trump will not stop this, actually, he will promote it.
Why is the private prison system even a thing? why are prisons making a profit? this doesn't seem concerning or shady to you? trump will not stop this either, hillary wouldn't either, but why are we profiting off of people's mistakes when we are supposed to be rehabilitating them. Why are taxpayers footing the $30-50k/year (give or take) to house an inmate, how infuriating is it when you find out that inmate, who costed taxpayers $200k for their prison sentence, was in jail for doing drugs. That person wasn't a criminal, they were just someone that wanted to get high, but we will surely turn that person into a criminal by putting him in with rapists and murderers, and leaving him to fend for himself. trump would only promote this system with his talk of how "stop and frisk" was so great. fuck outta here.
So if you are arguing with a "libtard" and they call you an ignorant moron, maybe it's because you refuse to believe something that is so obvious. At this stage, saying that that climate change doesn't exist is like saying slavery was never a thing, or that the holocaust never happened.
EDIT: I think a good portion of this also applies to democratic candidates as well.
Betterthanuatlife 7y ago
What are you even talking about, I haven't said shit about climate change which mind you is something that's been going on since earth even became a planet to begin with. Ever heard about the green house effect? My country (Sweden) was way warmer during the viking ages than it is now, and yes last November I could walk around wearing just a thin long-sleeved shirt, however this November I have to wear layers and layers of clothes. And I never said that drugs are a good reason to arrest someone either, if someone wants to hit a blunt then that's simply their decision to do something with their own bodies, it shouldn't be illegal, just like paying someone to fuck you shouldn't be illegal I'm a conservative but a pretty liberal one if you would compare me to the hardline deep south retards, and if I was an American I would have voted Rand Paul during the candidacy, at the beginning at least, during the actual presidential election I have no clue. Also when people say libtards then very rarely are they talking about traditional liberalists, they are talking about the illogical SJW tumblr freaks.

Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
I think you have stumbled upon a rather troubling mindset friend -- giving up on blue pillers is leaving them to a life of naivety, abuse, and imprisonment (mostly if they are men). You are effectively arguing for a caste system of merit. And while I agree that not all people are equal in practice (equal in law at the very least) and that meritocracy is imperative, that doesn't mean we should abandon lessers to a life of misery. A good king strives to help everyone. A good man is aware of his position but holds no pride in it - a truly good king does not consider himself one. Instead, he considers himself a public servant. So, if redpillers, as is often the case, live in a superior fashion, it is our moral obligation to continue to try to help others to improve themselves as well.
CallMeHaseo 7y ago
while I agree not everyone is willing to hear and listen to the truth and as im sure you know some people have a better chance of being saved than others.

Red Pill is amoral. And blue pillers have to come to terms with it on their own. Help someone out who's trying to leave his blue pill ways behind? sure. Help out the average dude who cant even handle a real thought about mortality much less deep social and psychological habits and interactions? You'll be laughed out of rooms by these idiots
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
Did you mean to say mortality or morality (sorry, nitpicks first :))? And all this redpill being amoral stuff - thats mainly a byproduct of bitterness. Most redpillers were once the most crushed of betas. It doesn't surprise me that they hold that against humanity and God - but that doesn't make it right, certainly not against God. Redpillers often discuss having goals, a purpose - and yet, they wind up leading very hedonistic, meaningless lives. The key issue here is that redpillers, just like much of todays society, are morally relativistic. there is no such thing as "amoral." There is an objective Truth in life (specifically, Jesus Christ), and with that comes definitive rules of morality. You are not justified to do whatever to win the game, get the girl, whatever. And you have a duty to proclaim the Truth at all times, and to help others at all times. I've been laughed out of rooms before on many subjects, and now I expect you will laugh me out of this virtual room for bringing up religion. But, I kindly ask that you don't. Either way, it won't stop me. I will continue to try to save everyone's souls and continue to try to improve everyone's quality of life through redpilling. Question is, can you swallow the bitter truth that you've been bluepilled out of salvation and into meaningless life, or will you just get angry at me now?
BENDERisGRREAT 7y ago
mortality. Try to talk about the world continuing to spin after you die with your average person and theyll never talk to you again. That hamster wants to stay in the wheel man (men and women).
I dont think religion and red pill are that far apart honestly. The Bible instructs men to love their wives, but only instructs wives to submit and respect their husbands. (Ephesians 5:22-33) Sounds like AWALT to me. The difference is that the Bible tried to eliminate hypergamy, whereas TRP attempts to eliminate beta male thinking. We cant reach women like the church could in those times, we can only improve ourselves.
Im not saying dont help people. I think inspiring people to help those less fortunate is important to society, whether it be religious help, financial help, emotional help, etc. But in order to do that you have to be the best that you can be. And the person has to be willing to accept help. 99% of Blue pilled men arent willing to accept help (I know I wasnt in high school).
This sub has a high amount of disdain and hate and cynicism, but this sub is about recovery and improvement, not a shining example of TRP in action. You dont judge an alcohol abuse program by the people still mid program, if they were representative of the end result they wouldnt be there.
I found David DeAngelo long before I found this sub, and i find myself striving more towards his version of self improvement than TRP, although they are very similar.
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
Thank you for the very respectful response. I agree that Christianity and red pill are not far apart. In fact, as someone who believes in the objective Truth (Jesus Christ), its unsurprising that I like much of redpilling, which is an attempt at realizing what is really true. I was just thinking that maybe I should start my own post about Christianity and redpilling where I can answer questions in greater depth and on a greater variety of focuses.
BENDERisGRREAT 7y ago
Youd have to approach it pretty carefully to keep it applying to Red Pill. It would be pretty rough to do with all ALPHA THIS! people that cruise the sub
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
I made one and theres a lot of grouches over there.
SetConsumes 7y ago
There is amoral, holding yourself to no morality. Women in essence are all amoral.
Moral relativism is seeing each morality as valid to its own society.
But either way, I'm curious. What purpose and meaning would your God have for me?
Good for you for trying to save people. It's what a True Christian should do. Did I just answer my question? Ha
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
Thanks for not attacking me :). To answer your question: everyone has a purpose. There's no such thing as luck or chance. Nothing is random. Now, that doesn't mean little things necessarily have huge importance. You, me, everyone who ever lived, was made with a purpose. This is a good purpose. There are things God wants us to do in our lives. Unfortunately, as sinners... we really mess up. A lot. Thats where Jesus Christ, God's son comes in. Essentially, God is perfectly loving and perfectly just. So, when humanity sinned, God, being perfectly just, must enact justice. But instead of leaving us to our punishment, He gave us an out: His son, Jesus Christ, suffered in our stead. If we believe in him and repent of our sins, we are washed clean with His blood. Now, there's a lot more I could and will go into if you are interested, but you can also read the Bible. Back to purpose: God created us to serve, worship, and glorify Him. As I pointed out earlier, we believe in a definitive Truth: Jesus Christ. So, we do not believe in moral relativism: something is either good or evil. We serve God by trying to save other peoples' souls and by doing His will. Now, we fail -- all the time. If it wasn't for Christ's sacrifice, we would be damned. Fortunately, God loved us so much as to bless us with salvation by suffering for us.
So, in regards to God's purpose and meaning for you: He wants to save you because He loves you and all people. We are His children. So first, he wants you to come to believe in His son and repent of your sins. From there, pray without ceasing and spread the Gospel (which literally means "the Good News," news of salvation). Accept the Holy Spirit and let it guide you. I do not know what God wants you specifically to do. What I do know is that He made everyone unique - and everyone has a unique purpose. You want to know your specific purpose? Ask God.
SetConsumes 7y ago
Did God decide what my nature and instincts would be? If not, who or what did?
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
So, God made you and he made every part of you. However, we live in a world that humanity made sinful. Tied in with that, we are all born with original sin. So often a related question comes from homosexuals: if God made me gay, how is it wrong? See, God is perfectly good. He is without sin. He is the source of all goodness. So God could not have made someone gay. But He did not make us perfect. We all have weaknesses, and one of those weaknesses is an inclination to homosexuality. "9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (2 Corinthians 12:9, ESV). It is in overcoming weakness that we glorify God. So God did not make you sinful, our original sin comes from Adam and Eve's sin. But God did not make us perfect, and, while I am not sure of it, He may have made us with weaknesses intentionally so we can overcome them. So, I know God made you you. I'm just uncertain if the weaknesses are a result of original sin or God making you with them.
SetConsumes 7y ago
God made us, including Adam and Eve. If He knew we would be tempted by the fruit, why put it there and make it accessible?
It's like telling a child, no eating candy, putting a bucket of candy in their room, and saying it's their fault they gave into their temptation and ate it.
God is perfectly good according to what? Himself?
Glorious-Butthurt 7y ago
To your first question: God made us with free will. He wants us to choose to do the right thing, to serve and worship Him. We aren't robots. Inherent in free will is the option to sin. So no matter what, we will be in a situation where there is something bad we can do. The issue is Adam and Eve did that bad thing. Also, its more like raising a kid in the city and saying that they can go anywhere except the really rough part of town. In regards to your second question: all of our Faith comes from God, so singling out God's perfect goodness as knowledge from God seems a little weird. Although if you are looking for evidence, there was that one time He literally died for us to save our souls.

There isn't any radicalization.
We're just tired of being called racists because we're white.
It isn't that hard of a concept to understand...
PM_Me_For_Drugs 7y ago
It's crazy when you consider the amount of mental gymnastics that the average person has to pull off to fit the increasingly-strict PC status quo.
I can't even count how many white people I've seen bend over backwards to try and show 'tolerance' ... and meanwhile, they have zero black friends in real life. None. So they're still racist (just in denial) because they're viewing racism as some disconnected cultural battle they need to champion, instead of good interpersonal relationships with actual people in their lives.

Purge Time
I've been waiting for a massive purge... this will be fun.
Let em come... we can ban them by the hundreds if necessary. (like the old days)
yomo86 7y ago
Don't we have a back up site already?
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
Well that's not the question.
The worry is that sad, crying, triggered SJW's invade the Red Pill and start posting all kinds of junk.
If that happens we need to ban them... in a big purge.
Purge ----> Ban was the idea.
I can see that not making sense.
[deleted] 7y ago
Look closely and you will find plenty of SJW's concern trolling or making excuses to manning the fuck up. The sub is infested on and off.
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
This is likely why I was banned from MGTOW
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
My guess is the MGTOW forum is sort of a Purple Pill place.
I don't go there however... so it's second hand information.
yomo86 7y ago
Oh I got the feeling that you meant a purge like the one of our beloved dear leader general Pao.
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
Well three years ago when the Red Pill had around 30k subscribers there were regular big purges where the moderaters would ban dozens of people all at once.
In the beginning the SJW's thought they could simply bark their bullshit at us and get us to cower to their intimidation.
That didn't happen and we fought them, then ruthlessly banned them from our sub. Eventually we arrived at a sort of truce where Red Pill posters never left our "turf" and they stopped invading our "turf".
So if they want the war again I'm ready to kick as and see "blood" in terms of massive bans in a purge of SJW types.
We will see if we get the war or not...
I'm ready to kick ass.

BardCollege_Dropout 7y ago
I hide my opinions at work to an extent, but I do not see how supporting Trump (or Hillary) go fit in line with TRP logic. If this is truly about being an alpha man, can you really support a man who brags about sexual assault? I perfectly undercut any argument supporting any of these two.
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
BardCollege_Dropout 7y ago
I heard the tape, I'm not "parroting" anyone so please be respectful. His comments after that specific tape were what put the nail in the coffin for me. His accusers are in the double digits and his only denial is the women aren't attractive enough. He's currenty facing a civil suit for rape of a 13 year old... If I'm smart enough to believe Bill Clinton is a pervert, I'm smart enough to believe your cuckdaddy trump is a pervert as well. Now piss off.
[deleted] 7y ago
So ugh.... Listen to the tape of trump again bro...
You will notice his wording. "If you are rich and famous women will let you grab their pussy" is not equal to "Man I grabbed all those womens pussy" which media has spinned it to.
And we support Trump because Hillary would be Feminism on steroids. Thats enough to vote Trump.
BardCollege_Dropout 7y ago
I heard the tape. I'm not a Hillary supporter, but I'm not going to pretend Trump, a grown man who lashes out at people on twitter like a 17 year old, is alpha, a leader or worthy of respect. Let's be honest here. They both suck just in different ways.
[deleted] 7y ago
Depends on what you mean by Alpha but the dude is definitely not the Stoic type.
He is Alpha when it comes to getting girls but thats mainly money. Or well, was. The dudes old now.
However, like I said, he isnt someone who has admitted committing sexual assault.
There was another post here that said while Trump did not hold frame perfectly, he faced pressure that none of us ever had. Imagine half of America calling you a rapist and all the media saying it too. Would you not breakdown?
I'm still on the fence if he is an example of RP. I'm leaning to not quite, but you have to admit that he does have his strengrhs.
BardCollege_Dropout 7y ago
Well, half of America wouldn't call you a rapist and a racist if you weren't doing rapey and sexist things. Apologizing for him when he clearly isn't exhibiting the behavior this sub claims "real men" show is ridiculous. Be honest, is it because he's alpha or is it because he's just a white man?
[deleted] 7y ago
Its because of the media though? Look at his statement. He said "Women will LET" how is that rape? The media twisted it and all of a sudden, boom, women go around claiming he assaulted them.
Media and the American people are easily gullible. Hek, they thought Hillary would win!
Oh, and none of us care he is white. Hillary is white too. However, a good chunk of us might just support Trump because Hillary is a corrupt Feminist.
BardCollege_Dropout 7y ago
Then double digit accusers came forward and said what he did was not consensual. That's not the media.
[deleted] 7y ago
Hey, tell me. If you read Wikileaks at all, you'd learn that such tactics are things Hillary and her team would easily resort to.
You know why its pathetic? Because there is no damn evidence aside from "My word against hers/his". Tell me, what is there to stop these women from lying? Where is the proof aside from words? "Oh, there were many of them so it has to be true!" Shit, pay $10,000 to 11 random chicks or chicks who can be somehow related to Trump and tell them to claim this. Oh, and it they happened many many years ago. Fuck, Trump may not even remember them because of how long its been, how the hell is he supposed to remember the facts around these women?
Its a SHALLOW accusation, just like most rape accusations nowdays are... unfortunately. Why do you think nothing will happen with these cases/allegations? Its not that Trump is using his clout(lol) like the media would have you believe (Dude had nothing but money before being president.), its that there is no proof!

[deleted] 7y ago
I posted this on shit book in response to the SJW's destroying my feed. Thought it might apply here - No arguing or responding to bullshit, its a statement and it stands without comment.
Regarding 98% of my timeline on this website (yes thats probably you) - "Trump is the natural result of the lefts highly politically correct, anti-white, anti-male, and anti-american rhetoric. Turns out if you demonize the people you disagree with, paint them as racists and oppressors and tell them that any and all of their successes are a result of some unearned "privilege", they will create a counter-revolution. Progressives, Trump is the consequence of your actions, your rhetoric, and the identity politics you brought into American politics. You made your bed, now lie in it." Furthermore - "When all the non-racist, non-misogynist, non-homophobic, non-bigoted, everyday ordinary people get so sick of you calling them racists, misogynists, homophobes, and bigots that they go out and vote against your candidate, do you: A. Reevaluate your personal conduct and strategy of convincing people to share your politics. OR B. Call them racists, misogynist, homophobes, bigots, and yell at them even more. According to my timelines most of you choose B, and thats why your candidate lost." I fully support Donald J. Trump. I will give him a fair, open, and honest chance to run this country until I pass judgement on him. Progressives asked the same when Obama was elected and I did just that - In fact I voted for him twice. No 'change' ever was accomplished. This country is more divided now than it ever was 8 years ago. Complete and utter epic failure. Lets Make America Great Again.

Or claim neutrality and play devil's advocate. I live in the deep south and the Trump win is loved. It's about 90-10% in favor of Trump. The law firm I work at, as a college kid? LIBERAL. Only me and the office manager are conservatives. When the head guy spoke to me about politics, I simply smiled and nodded at his Pro Hillary bullshit. That's a potential reference in the future, why fuck that up? Never break Law 38 unless you have FUCK YOU MONEY.
momomotorboat 7y ago
Ok, so how did Trump win, OP? If you apply this rule, how could someone walk into an election and behave unlike everyone else and win?
What I'm trying to get at is: there are times to buck this trend. It's easy to argue how he won, but if this rule was so powerful, then he shouldn't have won.
We all know there are times to break with the current and do otherwise. Are there any laws of power that discuss that? Cus it looks like Trump, by breaking a law of power, is about to come up on a whole lot of power.
greatslyfer 7y ago
Of course you have to realize when a situation does not reward a particular rule.
KingoftheAssholes 7y ago
Because Trump obey a different law. Law #6 Court attention at all costs. Remember the laws of power are not a written in stone. You use them when you need them. President-elect Trump was already famous for being who he is when he started runing. If he would have behave like the rest of them he would never made past the primary.
momomotorboat 7y ago
So, what you're supposing is that the 38th law applies as long as you have little power? Once you have enough of it, you can start to act otherwise?
KingoftheAssholes 7y ago
No. Every law except for maybe 48 depends on situations. Not the amount of power you have.

Are you kidding?? He sympathized 200% with the working class. Every rally he bemoaned the elites, the media, China, the world for laughing at us, blah blah blah. Whereas the Dems are always "vote for me it's good for you," trump ran a very empathical campaign to the working class, which swung Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania in his favor
momomotorboat 7y ago
No, I'm not kidding. If it were that easy to just show up and speak what the people want, third party candidates and a main party "outsider" would've worked before. Many have tried. Remember Ron Paul? So many of the average persons concerns, he was championing. But nobody took him the least bit seriously because he couldn't get the support of the RNC.
Politics is a big time insider game. People have wanted to run the empathic campaign you're talking about before, but wouldn't be able to get on the ticket if they did.
Trump talked about the things everyday people care about. But in the realm he was working in - politics - he did not follow Rule #38. Other people have tried to do the same thing and couldn't get in the door.

momomotorboat 7y ago
Exactly. He gave almost no specifics. He just says things will be great, huge, amazing. He's one hell of a salesman.
My big thing about these laws is that we seldom discuss when and how there are exceptions. And then we have morons running around making us look bad because they misunderstand what we're talking about.
[deleted] 7y ago
Liken the laws of power to the TRP laws. AWALT is not every woman but most women in general. Acting like others at work and school is a good rule. It makes your life easier. I think you should blend in, in general unless you have a good reason not to.
Rommel0502 7y ago
Not worth it engaging in bickering with the losing side.
We're about to go into a pro-growth era that we have not seen since the Reagan era. Many of us may never see this again in our lives. My advice - get your shit together and take advantage of the opportunity that is being put before you. If you are a hustler, you will become very wealthy over the next decade. If you instead focus on how unfair everything is, (eg, how the Chad's get all the chicks), then you will get what you deserve.
I already have a very successful business and am currently very comfortable. The last 24 hours I have done nothing but burn up the phone lines and examine all the new opportunities that are going to be laid before me. I am energized like I have not been in years, and Im going to capitalize on everything I can.
Once more, be your best selves gents. Thats the message, and use that to make yourself independent. Best of luck to you all.

infiniteslinky 7y ago
I get that Trump winning is good for men, and bad for feminists so I understand why many people here are on his side. I think something as complicated as an election has many more factors that need considering which led me to be extremely disappointed with the results. I had read all the policy points on our President Elect's web page, and I am really very concerned about them. I am a CPA, and his tax plans gives me shivers. I don't really know what is going to happen, but I am glad the feminists got a little reality check. I just hope a realty check isn't coming for all of us in the near future.

SetConsumes 7y ago
What about his tax plan gave you the shivers? Truly curious for your view.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies/tax-plan/
He is giving the largest tax cut to the wealthy/corporations in history. Much greater than the Bush Tax Cuts. The Bush economic policy is what created such tremendous income inequality and concentration of wealth to begin with. You can see he is accomplishing that by changing of the brackets in the section "tax law changes". That he is also repealing the death tax, so people like him can pass billions of dollars to their children tax free.
That makes me nervous for many reasons:
The government needs that money. It pays for a lot of things. I have read estimates that these tax cuts will cost about 1 trillion dollars a year to the federal government.
There are a lot of Angry people that support "breaking the establishment" the conditions caused by the bush tax cut I mentioned above squeezing the shit out of their wallets. Now Trump's policies promote tax cuts that dwarf the bush era cuts. The very people who are Angry, are being duped in to accepting economic policy that will worsen the conditions further multiply their misery.
That doesn't sit well with me.
The only thing I can say that is good about the Trump Tax plan, is that he seems to be putting in provisions to help people with children. Above the line deductible child care expenses are pretty solid thing to do for working families.
All in all though, leaving working families scraps while the super rich get 99% of the benefit of this program isn't equitable, but unconscionable. Now if I was super rich I might have a different opinion. I make somewhere in the 140k range, and Trump is putting proportionally, the lions share of taxes on people like me. (surprise). I guess I think the tax code should kind of be like spider-man's value: that with great power comes great responsibility.
Now you pair these giant tax cuts, with these giant infrastructure plans he has and I just have to wonder, where the hell is the money going to come from?
If you disagree that's cool. But that's my thinking on things.
SetConsumes 7y ago
It added to it, but I'd hardly say it created it. The Federal Reserve system and having a debt based economy itself guarantees wealth inequality.
I don't see how we can break the establishment. People on average are not free thinkers and they look to the establishment's media for answers and opinions.
Leaving the poor scraps is how civilizations function. Keep them happy and distracted and sedated enough, and all is well.
No idea where the money will really come from. Trump says jobs and business revenue when businesses and corps and manufacturing come back to the USA, when they can't evade taxes. I will wait to see it before I believe it.
I'm not too concerned about our debt, as long as the economy and our military machine keep functioning, the debt is mostly irrelevant, and will never be paid off.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
There will always be some degree of income inequality. I agree with you. In the last 20 years though, it has worsened tremendously, to the point that the country was geared up to elect either a socialist, or whatever Donald Trump is. The uniting theme there is kicking the establishment in the ass because things have gotten much much worse for the average American. That is because of stagnant wages and the bush tax cuts. We are continuing down that road.
The debt is not sustainable. You are basically saying that you can spend forever on your credit card, and as long as you keep lifting, and shooting at the target range, the debt wont matter. Guess what. Finance doesn't work that way.
SetConsumes 7y ago
What would taxing the rich more like we did in the 60s accomplish they will change much for the lives of the average American?
That won't make wages go up. Wages don't go up because the value of the position didn't go up much.
The problem is inflation of costs and the unending devaluation of money. The rich get richer through investments, their wealth keeps them ahead of the curve, and the non rich can never catch up without a giant inflow of funds, and worse the nonrich are mostly always falling more behind.
Bernie would have made people more dependent on the government which doesn't go against the establishment, and Trump is the establishment more so than not, billionaire and the ultra rich are the ones that run and control the country(especially through corps and influential organizations) than anyone else. They are the establishment.
Sure it does, when your banks are part of the establishment and own the Federal Reserve. When the debt becomes too high for them and the currency too devalued, the only choice will be to reset the debt.
But first, people will be living with little to nothing for a while before that would be considered.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
Thank you for your opinion.
karpathian 7y ago
The only reason they got so rich so fast is because they stopped paying Americans to make the shit we buy and our incentive for it was the stuff was cheaper. They don't have to raise the price as much with less taxes and if they do, we could always go to the one that doesn't.
redrummilf 7y ago
if you scrap the trade agreements and lower the corporate tax rates, their is enough juice to go around for everyone of us here.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
I dont understand why you think corporations are going to give money for everyone to go around. Corporations serve their owners. Unless you own lots of stock, you're not going to see the fruits of those profits unless you are an executive.
karpathian 7y ago
Some markets cannot be competitive with the corporate tax, shipping shit in will be an issue and people won't buy their shit if the prices rise, lowering their taxes makes it bearable to move back.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
Do you think American Business is noncompetitive? Are corporate profits at a low right now? No, corporate profits are not getting to workers because they don't have to. Cutting taxes isn't going to change that.

To apply law 38 means that you should behave like others.
Today that means to follow Trump supporters, the majority, and to shut up about the minority, the unpopular Hillary Clinton.
To hide your feelings about the election out of fear of rejection is cowardice.
The media has shown how politically incorrect they were and today it is no longer meaningful or wise to continue to fear "political correctness" of the minority.
If you are a Republican or Trump supporter, you should not fear.
If you are a Democrat or Clinton supporter, you might want to heed the 38th law and have a nice cup of shutthefuckup.

I agree wholeheartedly expect for the fact that supporting Trump is just a political viewpoint. Literally one of the only ones in your country. Most people go Democrat or Republican, which means that it seems highly dictatorship-ish for people not to be able to voice their viewpoint.
Obviously this is situational, if you are in a job with mostly lefties and your boss is an active endorser of the Democrat praty then you should keep it down.
But I see no need to keep your excitement quiet infront people in your social life. If those people feel triggered then this is a good filter. They had no place in your life anyway.
There's always a big difference in beginning arguments and simply basking in the joy of victory. I've been partying since yesterday and just enjoying this by radiating positive energy with my mates. People have tried to start arguments and lash out and I just smile and ignore their attempts. They quickly stop.
This moment is about being happy, not engaging in conflict.

I understand what all of you are saying, but do you really think Trump is going to be the savior of us all? He's a clown and has no idea what he's doing, let's be honest. The reason he won is because many Americans are fed up with the status quo, however, Trump is not the one who will make anything better. He literally has no idea how to run a country. The only thing he ever says is "I'm gonna build a wall" and "I'm gonna make America and everything great again." That's all good and well, but where is his plan? HOW is he going to change anything? A 35% tariff on imports? Building a billion dollar wall? Impeding free trade? Do any of you really think those things are gonna work? It's cool to talk big, but talk is cheap. But I'm hopeful, we'll see what the future holds.
And Trump is not an RP man. He constantly resorts to insults and child like behavior to get his way. He cannot even be professional in a presidential debate. Constantly interrupting your opponent is not holding frame, it is the exact opposite. It shows that his frame is weak and that he cannot control himself just like a child. And since when has racism, sexual perversion, and bigotry become a part of red pill idealogy? I thought we were about supporting our fellow man, building each other up, not putting others down. It is shameful that so many of you blindly support this clown as if he's the second coming of Jesus. get your heads straight, you're all starting to remind of the blue pilled and feminist idiots which you go against so fervently.
[deleted] 7y ago
hahahahahahaha
Yes, all the stuff Trump did obviously was wrong because he failed instead of succeeded. Right?
Or is it maybe your preconceptions about how to do things which are wrong?

gayqwertykeyboard 7y ago
Yes, that's why you still have a hard time typing coherent sentences on reddit.
gayqwertykeyboard 7y ago
Also, if you had half a brain, you would have been able to gauge from looking through my posts that I am in fact an amateur boxer, not weight lifter. I'm sure you have so many degrees that you cannot even glean this fact from such a small number of posts. With those critical reading skills, I'd be surprised you even made it through middle school to be quite honest. Anyway, you are not worth my time, enjoy arguing with people on reddit which you seem to love to do so much with your time.
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
gayqwertykeyboard 7y ago
Yes, I'm sure you know exactly what I do. Amateur boxing is a hobby, better than jacking your dick every day, which is what I assume you do as far as hobbies go. Keep trying to sound important on the internet, it's really working out for you. See ya later, alligator.
Rogodin 7y ago
Yep, he's a giant pussy and the republican party is a farce, it's a facejob for pulling capital up the pipe. People vote against their best interest all the goddamn time, and we all work for the man (even if you own your own companies).
[deleted] 7y ago
I wonder, if the number of people that would cut ties with you over your support of Trump was truly that big, then Clinton should have won. I think the majority is actually "political incorrect" inside, but they are all applying law 38th.
TerribleMrGrimshaw 7y ago
I think it's all about the when, where, and how. Personal conversations, one-on-one, etc are the methods to actually present different ideas. Using social media is worthless because there's no follow up and a barrier to connecting. Showing that you're a rational, normal human being that isn't the caricature discussed on TV is the way it's done.
suske127 7y ago
The way I explain to people that I'm "happy Trump won" Is simply by explaining that I'm a believe in capitalism. Hillary wants to make the country more Communist while Trump wants to make the country more Capitalist. All other issues are nil with either candidate because I simply believe in the governmental philosophy of one and not the other.
Or at least, that's the easiest way to explain it to liberals looking for a fight. They can't argue really

I love living in a solid red state, nothing to hide, and I was with the winning team before anyone thought they had a chance, even here.
Attended one of his first rallies as a diversion and came away realizing this would come to be.
reallydontgiveashit 7y ago
Fucking nailed it brother. Gonna post a comment I made in another thread (OP deleted his account and post after not being worshipped by TRP) and hopefully it will help with this argument.
(AWALT) All Women Are Like That.
Follow her actions never her words.
She will never love you like your mother.
Men love women. Women love children. Children love puppies.
Is Killary your special unicorn. You really believe she is gonna make your life (a RP man?, I assume but am not certain) better?
Like I said, it doesn't matter what your choice was. What's done is done. I served my time under Obama. Now it's your turn. One of the greatest laws ever.
You can talk all you want, but I won, and America won. MAGA.
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
I can never understand this contradiction. On one hand, when the final choice is to your liking, America has won, but when the outcome is not to your favour, then you have:
I want to call this Solipsism, but that only applies to women, what would you call it?
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
Buddy, don't make this about race; your post just became a stereotypical response when accused of racism by the proverbial SJW.
Word of advice: Letting people know your neighbours are blacks or the exact number of blacks that have been to your house will only paint you racist, don't dig yourself into that hole. Silence and Frame.
Not all black people know all white people, not all white people know Asian people, not all Asian people know Hispanic people...ad nauseum.
The trolls, RP is where we are supposed to converse, you can now judge me and manipulation of words is meh ... it makes you come off as passive-aggressive; stop that shit.
Note: I never brought up race, merely mentioned that your post implies you like this victorious candidate more than Obama—the previous electoral and victorious candidate.
Under the brotherhood of TRP, I say that lightly, do not betray yourself like that again:
ALWAYS MAINTAIN FRAME.
DON'T VOLUNTEER INFORMATION.
BACK TO WHAT I FAILED TO UNDERSTAND
The implicit way in which a victory for your favoured candidate—Trump—is regarded as a grand victory for America trumps me.
Whereupon a victory for a non-favoured candidate—Obama—is regarded as a personal trial, and I would venture to say it possible you regarded that a trial for America too.
Which has me wondering; why it is that a result favourable to you, is regarded as favourable to America?
Is it honestly that you feared/hated the idea of Clinton winning the election?
Are you in the Anger Phase, this threw me off?
Or are you eliciting a case similar to Solipsism, but of an exclusively male variant?
This latest post simply confuses matters:
Does that clarify matters?
To finalise, understand, I am not American, do not particularly care for American politics outside of American Foreign Policy and am impartial to the outcome of these elections...
Instead I find it interesting how the same mannerisms often highlighted in this sub, as written by the so called gynocentric West, reads like your OP...that is paradoxical.
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
No one is fighting, simply asking for a clarification; again no need for passive aggressive shit—fight me IRL.
The Anger Phase thing explains it I think.
Can you answer my first question, without being marred by the idea of this being a keyboard fight?
[deleted] 7y ago

BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
Thank you for the answer, it clears things up much more than colouring you enraged, that being too reductionist.
May the Pill continue to be bitter, lest we become Beta Cucks.

I was gonna write some corrections on some common bad arguments against Trump but then I was like "...what's the fucking point?"
It's like they TRY to switch off their brains when attacking Trump.
gjs628 7y ago
Isn't it funny how, if Clinton won, it would be expected and things would go on as normal. But since Trump won, it's not the "retarded redneck Trump supporters" causing riots and crying in the streets like babies, it's the "Liberal, intellectual new age ascended queens of equality" who are doing all the damage. Just like how they were the ones causing all the trouble at Trump rallies. Their attitude is like that of a spoilt child: We always get what we want and if you dare say no then we will scream and trash the house until you give us what we want.
And yet again, nobody does anything, because "they're grieving and they have a right to express that grief by smashing shop windows and stealing things", yet if Trump supporters were doing it they'd all be screaming "Just shoot those low class white trash scum and be done with it".
Just makes me wish that a wall could be built separating half of America, with each side running each half and then people would be free to live amongst their kin in peace. And fucking silence.
[deleted] 7y ago
I've been saying this for years. America really is two separate countries, and it should just be divided. People can go freely from one nation to the other, but the laws and governments are different. I think we would see peace and even prosperity for both sides.
throwaway-aa2 7y ago
I live in NYC and I'm honestly afraid for my safety. I'm almost 100% sure I'd be severely beaten if I tried to wear anything Donald Trump and I'd be ostracized completely at my place of work for supporting him, if not outright fired... I'd lose the support of my team and it would effect me greatly.
People just don't get it. The people I knew at work IMMEDIATELY drew me into political conversation and called anyone who voted for Trump lost, racist, homophobic... there IS no discussion and I don't even care to have a discussion so I had to sit there and smile at their little quips and viewpoints. It's disgusting but I had to know and believe in that 38th law of power. I wish I could be more upfront but I need to live to fight another day... I make a lot of money at my job and I like living in the city and I'm not willing to give it up in the blind pursuit of speaking my mind and telling it like it is. I'm GRATEFUL that voting is an anonymous action and honestly the empathy of people around me who don't even consider some of the people they call friends or family or co workers voted for someone different from them, and they completely ostracized them.
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
Stop being a mangina.
You do not advertise your RP nature, why should you do the same with Trump?
Is it so difficult to say, "I know right." And keep it moving.
juzeza 7y ago
My solution: Stopped participating in social media.
Problem solved!
No more urges.
Other people's opinion is none of my business.
JudoMonk 7y ago
I think this is a load of shit. Most of my social media friends are extremely left wing artists and I have stood my ground and gained many people's respect even if they disagree. I have lost a handful of connections and I have been attacked but I have maintained my frame and come out victorious. When you say nothing they are emboldened more and they can spew their bullshit without ever being challenged, you must fight in a democracy to keep your rights.
Some people insulted me after the election but most are now apologizing for what they said because I have no fucking fear and don't give a shit.
[deleted] 7y ago
Maybe it's a bad thing, but I've never felt the need to argue with others unless it's going to get me something I want.
Maybe I'm just inherently deceitful but arguing with people much less intelligent than me about things that don't really matter seems stupid to me. What do I have to gain?
Does it make you guys feel better when you win an argument? If it does then you're doing something wrong.
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
I was sitting on a park bench in the sun a short time ago and an older man walked by and I said something like:
"Hey, pretty wild election huh?"
...he agreed and I started talking about all the things about what is happening and I could see he was just burnt out on it.
Many older folks know things are bad, but have no fight in them at all. It's like they resigned from caring long ago and in a subtle way "sold out" to it.
You will find those who are younger, but awakened by the Manosphere to be feeling good today... but older people are exhausted and the Feminists are having a mental breakdown.
Just wait awhile.
The test will come over time.
We can celebrate here, but hold that "victory spike" to yourself.
PM_Your_8008s 7y ago
Emphasizing this. At work female coworkers talking about the whole thing, and even with the slightest implication from me that Hillary didn't lose only because she is a woman they turned on me, damn near instantly.
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
Let them get their good cry.
Then later start a fresh new conversation with the new reality of a president who speaks the truth.
After so much corruption it's going to be really weird.
thor_away92 7y ago
Fuckin rite. As soon as I read the election results I was thrilled. A nice big fuck you to the pussy pass.
My female teacher came into class looking like she just got divorced the night before.

I'm sorry was my comment not progressive enough for you?

I'm not all too concerned with what other people want.
I don't give a damn about the planet because me personally does not like the human race. Nor do I believe we deserve to thrive. We are destructive and disgusting.
Dark I know, but there are people out there like. It's a bitter pill in itself.
gekkozorz 7y ago
I'm seeing my younger friends reporting that many of their classes have been cancelled. That's funny. I remember when I was in school through both of Obama's elections. As a conservative, I was bummed about that, but I never needed a fucking cry-break.
_the_shape_ 7y ago
I was midway through my undergrad studies in '04 when Bush got re-elected, and sure the general ambiance had a somber tone to it, but nothing even remotely close to featuring a designated spot on campus providing warm blankets and gooey cookies to console the tender broken-hearted.
Globetrotta 7y ago
Gooey cookies? I'd show up and whine and dance a jig for some free hot gooey cookies.
[deleted] 7y ago
Or making exams optional. We really have become a pussified society.
kanyewost 7y ago
I for one am happy
I look to the pussies in safe spaces and think
"This my competition, lol too easy"
Globetrotta 7y ago
Try going to those safe spaces and offer condolences. It's a great way to pick up some action.
TG_Naptown 7y ago
I'm a Web developer on a college campus. Safe spaces were set up on campus today for students "as a result of the elections and a form of support". How fucking fragile do you have to be...?
segagaga 7y ago
Just that alone demonstrates everything that is wrong with the world today. Adults being coddled like children.
Project_Thor 7y ago
This is where you are incorrect.
segagaga 7y ago
We talking about an American college campus, so biologically adults at 18-21, but mentally ridiculously naive perhaps.
TG_Naptown 7y ago
The best part is we have an intern who happens to be a Muslim woman (hijab and all, I shit you not), and she literally laughed out loud when the email announcement came through today. If the poster child for your target demographic is laughing at you, you may want to lighten up a bit.
pedler 7y ago
I'm so fucking irritated by white people on my Facebook page announcing how badly they feel for us poor minorities. I'm not really even pro-trump (more anti-hilary), but the patronizing is ridiculous.
afkb39sdfb 7y ago
They just use minorities for their virtue signaling.
wanderer779 7y ago
I'm a white guy, and I just want to say I feel really bad that some of my fellow whites are treating you this way.
Lvl10Bard 7y ago
My father, a lifelong conservative, was actually quite interested in having Obama take office.
He wanted to see just how fucking bad one man could screw the country up within 8 years.
baseballfan901 7y ago
I have to say, your father should have looked at the aftermath of the Bush presidency. Obama for the most part, at least imo was a very sensible president and led the country well for what he was given i.e. the state of the country and the republican congress. Not sad about Hillary's loss and I am interested in what Trump has to offer, hopefully it's not Bush 2.0 dumbfuckery, but it's ultra left wing level smugness to wager just how bad one man could screw the country up before he has taken office.
Lvl10Bard 7y ago
Oh, no, we know everyone after Reagan (and arguable Reagan himself) was absolute garbage. Bush should hang. We were just interested to see what kind of buttfuckery Odumbo would get up to.
And I doubt Trump'll be a typical neocon. His VP has no known connection to any of the typical smokey-backroom groups like Newt and others have. So unless he gets his cabinet flooded with Neocons, we might actually, hell, probably see some amazing shit come out of this administration.
As an aside,
If it wasn't for him, we would have won Afghanistan. He banned U.S. servicemen from burning poppy fields. Poppy = Heroin, which is the Taliban's main source of income. They also provide majority of the world's heroin. So if Odumdo hadn't of done that, we'd have out attrition'd the towelheads.
baseballfan901 7y ago
lol, I don't disagree with your first two points.
But on your third, unless they were ready to occupy Afghanistan forever and always be in permanent state of war, they were never going to "win" in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is like Russia, you don't invade it, you don't "Win" it.
Also, the Taliban originally burned the poppy fields, although they brought them back during the war as a supply of revenue, but really there were much bigger challenges in overcoming the Taliban than poppy fields, and if it was really that simple... that armchair generals like you and I knew better, then I would bet Obama, who had the smarts to get an elusive fugitive hiding in Pakistan, would have simply seen this too, taken care of it and won the war. It is being very simple minded to think otherwise.
benzguy1972 7y ago
My dad of 65 years old opted out of the election. It was as if to say "Fuck it, I'm on my way out. It's your problem now."
I'm 44 not old, but not a spring chicken either. I voted with my balls.
NeoreactionSafe 7y ago
One local bar owner has been catering to the SJW crowd in order to "go with the flow" and now that Trump won he looks likes a complete sellout.
That's the thing... once you cave into the pressure it's hard to reverse that. Everyone knows you didn't have the balls to defy it.
waynebradysworld 7y ago
Oops.
In my defense I've been Trump shitposting for 18 months on social media. It would be MORE suspicious for me to not be consistent.
KriegerAleks 7y ago
I find this funny, and its also proof of something most don't want to admit. 1 He was actually the peoples choice, the democrats were the ones that set the areas for people to vote for the only reason people lying about them voting for trump would affect the votes would be because it makes it impossible to properly rig the election if people dont tell you who they are going to vote for. 2 it shows that many many people world wide are idiots, I don't even live in America and I got fallout for not thinking trump is a rapist. I hope he is better for you Americans than what Hillary is. p.s. Why the actual fuck do you guys not have voter id laws, We have voter id laws and its Africa for goodness sake..
AmericanHistoryAFBB 7y ago
Its so hard to keep my mouth shut right now, especially on social media. Bunch of sissies bitching because they didn't get their way for a change.
So far my attitude on there has been neutral. I know what I really believe, can't announce it to the world and lose a bunch of contacts though.
Think as you like. Behave like others.
[deleted]
Chemlab187 7y ago
I love announcing it to the world and losing contacts.
Losing contacts because I told the truth is inspiring and invigorating.
Of course I have been doing this for years so I have thousands of like minded individuals on my social media and very few who think differently, even though I encourage diversity of opinion and debate.
d0lphinsex 7y ago
Polarizing makes the man according to the Models book.
ifancy 7y ago
It depends on your situation, contacts and there relations for some might be extremely important to there success and cant jeopardize their relations with an acquaintance.
PinkUnicornPrincess 7y ago
They had their chance for a change with Obama and all that people managed was to divide the people! People now identify with "victim" status and no longer strive to survive and become the Victor of their own story.
MrJanglesLovesBooty1 7y ago
It's so much easier to be a victim. It's about as beta as it gets.
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
ouchlol 7y ago
Well buying into some stupid social media argument with liberal extremists is pretty beta to begin with. It's like trying to talk red pill to a woman -- completely pointless.
WhySoRuff 7y ago
What you mention has age constraints. Someone in their early to mid 20s might be able to get some tingles/props from going against the narrative.
However, anyone trying to climb the social and economic ladders is playing the long game and will not go against the narrative. Too much to lose.
MrJanglesLovesBooty1 7y ago
Definitely. Chad wearing a MAGA hat will still get plenty of women wanting to fuck him.
WhySoRuff 7y ago
The end game is not pussy. It's money and social clout.... aka freedom.
You can't go against the grain when you are lacking in any area.
_the_shape_ 7y ago
Chateau Heartiste very recently released a piece on an SJW who "accidentally" fucked a Trump supporter, leading her to sever ties with the guy because the internal tension was too great to contend with.
awalt_cupcake 7y ago
whoops! dick slipped in! haha hate it when it does that
gekkozorz 7y ago
If I weren't worried about having 50% of my friends cut me from their lives, I would be going on such a gloat rampage right now. All these people who mocked, silenced, bullied, and belittled those like me who didn't subscribe to their personal belief systems are now having their intolerance blow up in their faces. I really want to shove that down their throats and make them eat it.
But, OP is right. Better to keep your head down and smirk in private. MAGA ????????
exit_sandman 7y ago
You can gloat twice for good measure - simply argue that the fact that the DNC rigged the elections in favor of Hillary and the media pretending as if nothing happened, i.e. both parties showing democracy the finger, would be enough to be against them.
camenossaber 7y ago
Better to stay humble and watch them make asses out of themselves. More entertaining. We did it. MAGA.
dan_legend 7y ago
The thing is, in other forms of government, when things reach this point civil uprisings happen. But in America a simple election with zero bloodshed is all you need to say FUCK YOU to all the idiots.
[deleted]
[deleted] 7y ago
Even then, they will double down on their deeply held beliefs. You cannot argue with people who do this. It is the reason that law #38 exists.
MrJanglesLovesBooty1 7y ago
They don't sound like real friends if they'd cut you from their lives over a difference in politics. My God the Left is hypocritically intolerant, and they're too stupid and emotional to see it.
ifancy 7y ago
Nothing but virtue signalling for social brownie points and echo chambers for the left msm.
[deleted] 7y ago
What this election has done is show me how many idiots I really don't want to be friends with. Just today I unfriended a Carl who was literally "YOU'RE A WOMAN HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT TRUMP" hysterical to a female friend. Of course, facebook is cancer etc.
NietzscheExplosion 7y ago
All the kids have is their so-called facebook friends nowadays. Most people are lucky to have 1 or 2 REAL friends, but this generation wouldn't have shit when it's put to the test, lol a real test not disagreeing with an fucking election. Pussies.
I'm afraid to say what I think cause I might lose friends.... WEAK.
Lvl10Bard 7y ago
Dude.
You might want to reconsider your choice in friends.
gekkozorz 7y ago
90% of the time, most of these people are normal. But the internet has gotten people insanely riled up this election cycle.
Entropy-7 7y ago
90% of blacks vote for Democrats anyways. It was 8 out of 10 of the remainder that voted for Obama.
NietzscheExplosion 7y ago
If that's true you should just cut them anyway, they AREN'T real friends. More time for your REAL friends after.
tallwheel 7y ago
Exactly. For me, it would be closer to 95% of my friends cutting me from their lives. I wonder if some of them already suspect me for not posting anything sad or whiny about the result on FB yet.
beginner_ 7y ago
Post some conspiracy theory level shit (he rigged the elections with russian hackers) and see how many approve and congratulate you. Then spring the trap as in "Guys I was just joking and I thought it was obvious".
gekkozorz 7y ago
Sometimes I feel like the ones who are far lefties are poking and prodding at me to get me to say something anti-Trump. "Man, someone just left this MAGA flyer on my door, so annoying, right? Because you hate Trump. You do hate Trump, right?"
tallwheel 7y ago
They have to find out if you are one of us or not. Their political system has given them an easy way of separating people on their side (good) from the "racists".
[deleted]
DJ_Ruumba 7y ago
Hillary would have continued the browning of America and made white Americans lose power. White Americans are not dumb, when it came time to vote they voted based on what recent polls they heard (constantly in the media about whites becoming a minority in 2040) and voted against it.
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
The first rule about race wars is ... you don't talk about race wars.
mdcrubengonza 7y ago
I hold no qualms with addressing ill-conceived concerns. Cowardice nor stupidity will be allowed near me. Sure, I will be careful if my income and livelihood depended on it (it doesn't), but for now? I'm spreading logic, or attacking the stubborn defects that I come across.
Like we saw with Trump's behavior through out his campaign, timidity, not even disguised as a law, should be respected.
[deleted]
Jax77789 7y ago
Law 38 can go to hell man. It is not unconventional to say you are a Republican or a Conservative. To support Trump is a true sign of shitlord-ĂĽber-super-Alpha-pack leader.
What's going to happen ? Stupid libtards and close-minded people cut you off...yeah....what were you going to do with them anyway ? And...chicks flock to you..they love men who stand their ground, regardless of whatever womenese I-am-so-shocked they gush. At worst...is she hates you she is more likely to fuck you...

Meh. Stay low for a few days and rub it in their faces after they've accepted and moved on
tedted8888 7y ago
Idk, people freaked out about Obama. I mean his best friend growing up was bill ayres, a wanted FBI terrorist. His pastor also said goddamm America. He shouldn't have qualified for top secret security clearance. Neither should Hillary. But if I point this out I'm a racist misogynist pig that hates black people and repeats to many words and insults.
On the other hand Regan ran on repealing the department of education, and was slandered as a crazy war hawk. Nothing seemed to happen. Nothing seems to happen. Obama care won't be repealed and replaced. Term limits aren't happening, and the tax code isn't going to be reformed. Food stamps aren't going away. Disability is here to stay.
So yeah as much as I want to point and laugh at liberals, I just don't want the drama. Drama is women's work. I'll just focus on myself and quietly laugh at the hypocrisy of liberals. And enjoy some whiskey. For me.
infiniteslinky 7y ago
I thought they promised Obama care would be repealed and replaced on day 1. You cant just ignore statements like that... it is the cornerstone of all republican policy, and ambition for the last 8 years... If you are benefiting from Obama care... well... you wont be for long.
tedted8888 7y ago
You need to try harder at sarcasm sir
tallwheel 7y ago
Trump changes his stance all the time. You're not even going to be able to count the number of campaign promises he breaks before his first term is over.
[deleted] 7y ago
Benefitting from 200% premium hikes you mean. It is pretty clearly a road to "Hillarycare" - aka single-payer.
gareiu 7y ago
trump rarely behaved like others and look at what happened to him?
mykonos_rm 7y ago
then theres that other law about being better to be hated than ignored
SetConsumes 7y ago
The laws are situational. You can't afford to be hated if you have no power and no one wants to be you. Kind of like the law of using absence to create value, worthless if you're not going to be missed.

In this Video you can see how Obama humiliated Trump and its Trump, who has the last laugh!
NightwingTRP 7y ago
Waste of time on social media, yes. IRL... not so much if your frame is solid enough and you've cranked your IDGAF up to 10.
The thing about the social justice thing vs the views we hold, is that social justice works by shaming people and making them feel isolated. The Trump victory shows you're no longer alone. Do not continue to fall for their shit during the time when you are able to go on the offensive.

I like pointing out the fact that they lost because they downplayed and mocked the concerns of many, many folks.
The idea that you can label people you disagree with as stupid is what gave us this result. It turns out people take issue with that. The SJW ideology is bankrupt and this election was, in part, a referendum on it and the PC culture as a whole.
It's most definitely wishful thinking, but I hope this election hastens the death of this way of thinking. If it doesn't, we (the silent majority / RP) eagerly await round 2 in 2020. Bring it on. #MAGA

How does Trump getting voted in as President "ensue more pussy and better a male image"?
For the former, the matter is still incumbent on the Red Piller and the later would require a shift in the current popular culture outside of positive personal male figures per male.
yummyluckycharms 7y ago
Wrong way of thinking about it - you want to voice your opinions so that the crazies self select themselves out of your dating pool. Moreover, women will throw out all of their most cherished beliefs if they are desperate enough to land some alpha dick. Its unbelievable how many women I've plated and then later had to dump when I found out they were card carrying feminazis.
[deleted] 7y ago
Until the crazies figure out how to blacklist from your chosen profession or business. Many have started "organizing". For what nothing good. I'm fairly insulated and even then OPSEC is my sop.
yummyluckycharms 7y ago
Considering how I refuse to hire women who post feminist nonsense on any of their social media feeds, I can understand where they come from.
the difference is - I'm valuable - they're not

Even so, if you have protesters harassing your customers, suppliers you are still screwed.

i won't have to buy salt for the next 4 years, noice
TheElite3740 7y ago
Nah. I've been fully vocal about my views. Commenting on anti trump posts with facts whilst liberal cucks reply with silence as they haven't done the research. I've been removing people by the bucket load for their libtard views
oZeplikeo 7y ago
What's done is done, the American people have spoken. My point is that it's not worth rubbing salt in their wounds right now, they are irrational and will lash out against you. It's not worth the energy.

I was thinking about going to Berkeley ,but I decided not to go.The people there will lynch me if I show up.
Chad_1995 7y ago
Good call, it's usually a liberal shitshow. But today, I'm walking around campus with my head held high and have literally never felt smugger.

As a former Californian and proud Trump supporter, I respect you for standing firm but also am concerned for your safety
j3nbu 7y ago
Oh my god. Stop being such fucking pussies and just say what you think.
You are not a fucking mideval prince. You are a regular person.
The idea that you are some super secret power broker because you pussy put of debate and argument is laughable
RedDeadCred 7y ago
It's really just about not alienating people you are forced to work with.
camenossaber 7y ago
Very wise words. I've kept my excitement low key and refuse to argue with any cucks. There is no winning an argument.
michael_wilkins 7y ago
Absolutely,
I've been making this mistake quite a bit, I had to make a long winded social media post to re affirm my allegiance to tolerance and progressivism. MAGA though. And in true aussie fashion I had some money riding on Trump to win.

What if you don't care at all, and you just want to bathe in the angry tears?
ifancy 7y ago
You need to strike cognitive biases and bait and switch them into logical fallacies.. only works if you are being factual and they are half truthing, or moral high grounding you. Gets to a point where their little brains cant handle it anymore because they cant keep affirmimg their false world view.

You can't get into a wrestling contest with a pig without getting dirty.

The culling of friends must happen to evolve your social circle.
amekooky 7y ago
the liberal friends fuming over me voting for the "racist candidate" since im hispanic. isn't that prejudice in itself ?
BluestBlackBalls 7y ago
A simple observation I have made is, people tend to divide the world in 'Us' and 'Them'.
From herein, the group titled 'Us' is always painted as the victim, angelic group or 'good guys'.
When prejudiced statements like the one you highlight see the light of day, they are jot formed from reasoning founded on all available data, instead it is a case of the 'Us' group feeling betrayed by you not standing along side their beliefs.
Essentially, the question becomes:
"Are you with us, or against us?"
Group think beyond AWALT.

I'd love to talk about this with people but of course there's no debate, just people screaming and crying about how Trump will nuke us all. There's never been more proof that elections are just as much about social-feels though, so that's currently a good reminder of how society works.
bigcitytruth 7y ago
You'd be surprised how many Bernie supporters are okay with Trump's win.
Oftowerbroleaning 7y ago
They've been spewing their liberal horse shit at me for 16 months. You can bet your ass I'm going to gloat. And I'll be smug as fuck about it.
truthseeker201 7y ago
This makes no sense. If we apply this "law" to the recent election, saying things on social media in favor of trump would be going WITH the grain, not against it. On Nov 8th, we found out how the majority of Americans really feel. It just appears you are going against the grain because most liberals happen to be social media whores. Now, if we are talking specific TRP ideas, yeah I would keep that on the downlow, because they are still pretty unorthodox even for the avg trump voter.

This can't be upvoted enough

Oh boy, and i went today to class with my Trump T-shirt. I will have to keep low this week.
n0oo7 7y ago
You got a link to these laws of powers? Is it on the sidebar to the right?
Edit: found it
Ovadox 7y ago
Isn't Trump the best possible evidence that this is not true? He was shamed from the outset for his views which went against the PC sentiment that prevails in the media, gave no fucks and had the balls to double down on his positions several times. He would not have accomplished what he did if he had followed your advice.
I still think he will lead us to ruin but I have to give some respect for the way he handled a media shit test of epic intensity and duration, actually turning it to his advantage.
asongaboutaditch 7y ago
Man, did I ever need to read that. I've felt that way countless times, to the point of becoming anxious, fearful, and especially confused. Didn't know what was wrong or how to fix it. I really appreciate this post.
goldnhorde 7y ago
good advice .... you knw what .... for this situation ... BEST ADVICE ... 'nuff said. not going any further on it.
imbecoming 7y ago
Is this really a sustainable strategy though, suppose that he wins again in 4years, and after that a trump light figure wins, do we just walk around pretending to fit in?
rygar_the_red 7y ago
This whole thing has been a pain in my ass.
I cut news and TV out of my life some years ago, including the political bullshit.
It's slightly challenging once in a while when most folks somewhere want to talk about game of thrones or last night's ball game, but this is a whole nother level.
It's damn near 100% of people want to get into it over this particular election. Pain in the ass.
andhakanoon 7y ago
I couldn't agree more. the past two days I have seen the absolute worst in people come out on social media. So many times I have been absolutely horrified at the things being said and even done in many cases. But it is not worth it. Surrender them to the devil that possesses them.
