Imagine yourself 20 years from now. The stuff that happened now has a follow-on story. I could say "I asked a chick out, she said no. Then she went and got with a reckless guy that did stupid shit and left her needing a bailout". I could also mention she was a HB10 and I had the balls to cold approach her and shrug off the rejection. She said "I'm not attracted to you" and I said "Well at least you're honest..." and then left. Shallow, but honest.

I get that, but I don't agree with the angle. Yeah, we're all responsible for who we choose to reproduce with. And often times I scoff at the victimhood mentality of women having made poor choices in men. Some things in life, you can't account for though. And the decision to be that pathetic, playing Russian roulette when he's got kids, is entirely on him.
There's no dual mating strategy or SMV overreach going on here. She managed to lock down the guy she wanted, and as such, she played her cards right. If they were still together at the time, that makes her a 'widow' - not a 'single mom'.
And besides, from a red pill perspective, it's not 'alpha' to gloat and be resentful because she once chose someone else, and it eventually hit her in the face. It's not even 'beta' - it's 'omega'.
The guy was an asshat, an example of everything we strive not to be as men. To be that incompetent at life, and to raise such havoc in the lives of others, is simply pathetic and unforgivable. No two ways about it.

There is no resentment. I had completely forgotten her until my friend brought up what happened to all the people we went to HS with. Then stories like this started popping up. The dudes who got all the chicks ended up in prison, dead, etc. The dudes who got rejected ended up stable husbands and fathers. The lesson here is to be a jerk or get rejected.
