I was engaged a few years ago, my fiancee and I went to different colleges, she then cheated on me and I fell into self deprecation afterwards (R9K style) I then found this place sometime after. I'll share the things my fiance told me and then I'll share my thoughts afterwards.

What She Told Me

She said she was sorry, it simply just happened, the guy kept insisting and she fell in love. It wasnt her fault, he was just so charming and she felt lonely.

What Really Happened

After a few years we became friends again and I earned her trust, I started asking her about her past relationships. She told me she only had 4 boyfriends in her whole life but now she tells me there were more but those didn't "count".

Here is the real bitter story. She told me how the cheating really went down, apparently she forgot the excuses she gave me 4 years ago.

She said the guy never chased her, he was a musician (violinist) in college and always had groupies surrounding him. She said she was too shy to approach him but she made up her mind when her friend told her he was cute (Jealously, Hypergamy) so she made up her mind.

She started following him but he never noticed her.

But I have a bonus story

She had a male friend, a friend that I always found untrustworthy. She said that right before Violin Chad happened she was also talking to him. Her male friend started talking shit about me and then they kissed right before she met Violin Chad.

*The way her parents treat her "They are evil! They won't let me do what I want" (Red Flag)

Types Of Cheating

There are five types of cheating you should be aware of

Oops I Fell On His Dick This is when a woman feels vulnerable and doesn't really think. It doesn't matter if the guy is fat or a loser, she wants to feel love and dick. Always trust your gut, all of these things my ex girlfriend did I kinda already knew, my gut knew about The Violin Chad, my gut knew about the poser friend. All of these things she denied with passion, hard not to believe her.

Women are cunning, women are excellent short term planners, and always get their way, they are Machiavellian, they lie, and they manipulate, they are schemers. Always trust your gut no matter what. I got into a relationship back in high school prior to going to college which became a LDR. That was stupid of me but she was cute and innocent HB6 who was going through the end phase of her anorexia. She was 17 years old, 100 lb petite 5'2'' girl and had her personal baggage. I was always trying to fix her emotional and other problems i began to transform into a white knight. I fixed her emotional problems and she was confused about her future. She got into her dream school (Boston University) because of me and during that time she began to gain weight. She ballooned to about 150 lbs and with her small frame made her look like jabba the hutt. I told her to get her weight under control or I was done with her. She cried and begged me not to leave and threatened to kill herself. I would see absolutely zero results a year later. I would often wake up early to go to the gym with her even though i worked 12 hour days. Eventually, she began to act cold and distant. She did not appreciate the fact that she got to where she was now because of me. My gut feeling was telling me she was talking to other guys and such but I was never able to confirm it. I always trusted my gut my entire life and I took that as the evidence I needed and I went on a pussy spree. I fucked everything and anyone in sight. At the time I felt guilty but I found eventually found out that she had been flirting with other guys behind my back and using Tinder. Accepting rides from complete strangers because she thought they were cute. Lying to me behind my back and betraying my trust. Hoes these days aren't loyal at all. Once they get attention from other guys they immediately lose sight of who is important. I cut her toxic ass immediately out of my life. I learned from her close friends that she is struggling financially and may have to drop out of the college I got her into. I could not be happier with this news and ever since I took control of my life everything has been falling into place for me. Tl;dr Always trust your gut!

If that were true most women would be diagnosed with serious personality disorders. But it's not . It's clear you've never met , for example, a female sociopath. There's a reason male sociopaths outnumber female sociopaths in prison. They're better at hiding and manipulating - but the average neurotypical woman isn't. Such a sad world we live in. Also, possessing one trait out of the 3 that encompass the dark triad would be a huge advance business-wise , but these women most likely look for a normal , comfortable life. It makes no sense. I was thinking the same thing. However, consider this: Maybe the reason more men were diagnosed than women with personality disorders, had to do with several of the symptoms already being stereotypical behaviors for women. It's possible that since society already expects women to act manipulative, doctors are more likely to shrug it off to the female patient, saying "Nah, you're fine". Meanwhile, as the stereotypical male is less likely to be considered manipulative, it would be much more likely for him to get an accurate diagnosis.

Actually, no . Less women remain "undetected" because their diagnosis is often mistaken for Borderline Personality Disorder. Why? Because women are assumed to be empathic and "nice" , often with ugly mood swings. So, they can't be sociopathic , nope. The closest thing is then BPD lol. Also, women are better at hiding it . As you probably know, sociopaths have masks that they switch between in different social situations. Because of this illusion of the nurturing woman , they can easily manipulate both genders. Men usually get only under women's skin (empaths usually) with superficial charm that soon turns either into indifference or abuse. Depends if they're high-functioning or not. Obviously these are just generalizations. There are violent female sociopaths and there are pro-social male sociopaths. It has to do with up-bringing too. So the issue is much more complex than that.

It's important to remember that sociopaths can't feel love and most of their emotions are toned down , though not as much as psychopaths (this is a grey area , many people disagree when it comes to sociopaths vs psychopaths so it's just safe to say ASPD) . So you will not impress those people with emotional outbursts , you will just annoy them. It's safe to say that you won't see sociopathic women around emotional people for too long of a time.

But psychologically there is almost always more difference within groups then between them. What that means is that although, yes, women are on average better at lying and machiavellian things. But there are also women that are terrible at it, and there are men that are superb at it. So this is just a big overgeneralisation.

But it has a use. It's important to not be to naive so it's important to imagine these things. What if she's lying? That's why you need to learn to analyze people and recognize liers/psycho/sociopaths.

I tried to explain that it doesn´t really matter most of the time what a woman is telling you. You just have to stay calm and don´t trap to deep into her "Business". Thats a real large area, like a unknown universe. You can do a lot of mistakes and it is quite impossible to get back to where you started from. Don´t get to deep in her Business to avoid becoming her best friend. Otherwise you will end up in every girls friendzone and number one Contender for the Lord of Betas.

And yes, women and men are different. But to ascribe being better at lying to women is asinine. Women aren't better at lying. Men are just more apt to believe women, because of the pedestal. There is a huge, and very important, lesson there.

The problem people have is separating the VALUE judgement and their own morals from the way things just ARE.

Yes. Women have a marked propensity for lying. So do men. But men are trained, by dealing with other men a lot, to understand and see through male lies.

Idk how people are in the US but when you come to europe you will experience quite fast that most of the people here are shallow and insidious. It´s because they all want to live up the american Dream. Being rich, famous, attractive and surrounded by matching people. So the isolate themselves in their very special view of life and try to avoid getting interrupted by anyone who´s not fitting in their matrix. It doesn´t matter if you are at work, in pubilc or amusing yourself in a club or anywhere else. The atmosphere will be the same cause mostly everybody only looks after himself and creates a bubble around him to avoid losing the feeling of being secured by their own little cosmos. But as we all know, this is nothing than an illusion .I am an open minded person who likes to interact with people and this is just the way it is in the most parts of repressed europe, especially germany or how many people call it inappropriate Nazi Deutschland.

I'm frustrated by women's lack of logic (and soyboys for that matter). Just the feels over reals gets tiring. The only way to deal with this is to treat most women like kids and that works well. The reason it frustrates me is that I haven't fully embraced this view yet and that these adult children are good at sounding like adults from time to time.

I think it's normal to experience negative emotion upon discovering greater degrees deceit in the world than expected, no matter the sex of the perpetrators.

It's so narcissistic and terrible, I can't even contemplate what a female's reaction to it would be.

I only ever hear about solipsism on this subreddit, it's like a post gets instantly more value just by mentioning it.

In any case, solipsism is a beautiful way of thinking, since it focusses more on your own mental wellbeing and not those of others. Inherently, humans are selfish and only aren't when it benefits them more than the energy they have to put in. On top of that, there is no point to tell someone something that puts you in a worse position, so lying, and wrapping it in such a context that it feels like you are saying the truth, benefits you with telling a convincing lie, making someone feel better about you, and you ultimately feel better about yourself.

As said, humans are selfish, any admitting your n-count has nothing but bad effects to you, worse than just lying. So by admitting the true n-count, you are in a way going against your prime nature.

Say, on Facebook she gets an invite to food party from an average SMV guy. She'll mark 'confirmed'. Then she will not show (costing the host about $20 in extra food). Publicly she is announcing she is invited to parties, she has a wide range of friends , and circles and vibe like everyone's close friends. After she flakes if the subject comes up, she will say "Henries party?" <she's too cool to go> or I didn't go because I went to Oceanside with Kim that day.

I would argue that to game women one has to become more solipsistic anyway. Women want the ability to deny and excuse themselves. It's why you take women out for drinks instead of on dates. They live in the grey so that they can call it whatever they would like. You have to understand that and use that thought process to your advantage. Keep things fluid and the message is the medium. Depending on your set of values, this is particularly true when it comes to gaming women already in relationships.

But I'm after having range, not being a shit selling salesman. In the end the shit salesman is just a piece of shit. I can have standards and enforce them through abundance. It is important to know how to cheat so you aren't a sitting duck, will survive and sometimes just because that's going to be how it's going to be. Cheating and lying aren't automatically a valuable currency. Take the guy on the golf course you play with who often writes down a score better than he did. I fucked 7 guys in 2017. I also had 9 different jobs (I only got fired from one of them and it was one I had for four years prior to ALL of this stuff happening). 2017 was just a really weird year for me and from what I can tell, it was a weird year for everyone. Before 2017, I only slept with 1-2 guys/year and had 1-2 different jobs/year. Now in 2018, I have slept with zero guys and I'm pretty happy with the one job I do have.

I don't expect you to really believe that I'm a sane and honest person because you have no idea who I am and everything I did just say was a "red flag," but I think people, in this case women, are just much more complex than you perceive them to be. People go through weird periods in their lives and sometimes they do end up having a lot of sex, but it's not exactly a reflection on who they are and how much they value honesty.

I think what you do is a GREAT reflection of who you are. It tells people what choices you make based on context.

Lots of people like to believe they think one way and act another constantly. No they don't. You think and act largely in unison. Recently there's even been evidence that our brain has made decisions before we consider them consciously, that's right, consciousness may be largely an afterthought justification. (Still only a theory but gaining ground slowly.)

So no. I definitely take into account how people have acted. I would expect anyone to do the same for me. They can look at how I've conducted myself and see weak points, changes, and strong points.

My job history has not really affected how employers view me lately. I graduate in May and I've had 3 job interviews these past 2 weeks with 2 more coming up. I don't exactly advertise that I've had so many jobs (my resume is only a page long and has 3 jobs listed on it. I don't hide it on LinkedIn, so they could find my full work history there, but most people are lazy. I have good reasons for leaving most of those jobs, so I don't feel an employer would be bothered by it.), but I honestly feel the experience helps me more than anything.

Like I said, 2017 was a weird year for me and I feel like I lived 10 years within one. There was a lot of growth that happened for me because of how crazy that year was for me. I've become a much more confident person and I really learned how to develop myself professionally and emotionally. It's easier for me to be relaxed during interviews and I have a lot of different positions to talk about.

Basically I feel it's done more good than harm for me, but I understand where you're coming from.

Oh jeez, I don't think I can respond to your entire novel. I'm kind of surprised you took the time to write so much about me. Neither of us know each other and it's just amazing to me that you feel you know so much about me and my future when you don't even know my name.

However, my future and present are two things I will address. I've slept with 14 people total over a time span of 6 years (lost my virginity at 18 and I'm 24 now). As stated before, I've slept with zero people in 2018 and I have a hard time seeing that change soon because I avoid anything that's not platonic these days.

Statistically speaking, I am less likely to end up in a healthy marriage because of my sexual history and because I'm a child of divorce. I personally don't feel marriage is realistic, but I do intend on trying to succeed in one because I know that I'm a great person that's worthy of love. If I can't make it in marriage, I hope that I can at least maintain a friendship with my ex-husband. I'd say that sleeping with so many people in such a short time period actually made me a slightly better version of myself because doing taboo things that aren't inherently evil does give people a broader perspective on human behavior and it's made me more patient with people and less judgemental about their actions. It's part of the reason that your condescending tone doesn't really offend me. I'm still friends with most of the people that I slept with that year even though some of them did really harmful things to me because I've come to realize that I got close to them during a bad part of their lives and they were living with insanely skewed and self-centered views of what reality was. They are inherently still good people, but good people are capable of doing bad things and I just got the bad end of all of that. The emotional growth that I've done in 2017 has made me capable of forgiving them and moving past it. I think that skill is necessary for my future relationships, especially marriage. As for the employment, I had a good reason for leaving 95% of the jobs I got that year and I would explain it, but it's honestly a lot to type out.

As for the worthiness of love thing, that's another sort of philosophical difference that we have. I know I am worthy of love. Whether it's from a romantic partner or from myself, I will always have it. I am secure with the fact that I am a good person and I really do try my best to treat others kindly. I am good at maintaining relationships and my job (tutoring) because of it. I don't think getting a lot of dick is going to cancel that out lmao

I've never heard it put that way before, but you're right. I mean I always (since unplugged) knew that women lie without realizing they are lying, or without understanding that they are lying. But I always thought it was because they were unwilling to see the truth, that they had a viewpoint they just stuck with, that somehow, you could point out to them that see, this is a lie. But it's as simple as they just believe their own lies. Which somehow makes me feel better and worse at the same time. I don't think that it's particularly healthy to assume, at the very beginning of the relationship, that the woman you are into is just going to lie pathologically like that. But you do have to be well versed in the kinds of lies they're all inclined to tell, so your post is definitely still valuable, as you point out a few of them. Ultimately though, once you understand the areas of women's lives that they feel obligated to lie about, it's a pretty easy solve.

The fix is this: you catch her in the act of one such lie, embarrass her a little (not too much), shame her a little for being dishonest, and then tell her that you're 100% honest with her (even if that's bullshit), and that you therefore expect full transparency from her from that point forward (in other words, if she lies to you again, you guys are done). If she's into you, she'll be relieved you didn't freak out on her, and she'll agree. If she isn't, then get ready to be played like a goddamn fiddle by this chick until you either get wise or she gets bored, whatever comes first.

So yeah in sum, women are inclined towards dishonesty in certain areas of their lives. Make it clear as early on as possible that that won't fly with you, because you are a paragon of honesty and virtue, and she'll either shape up or walk away. If she shapes up, problem solved, if she walks away, she wasn't worth it anyway. Next.
