As we all know, fitness is critical to the health and well-being of any person, male or female. It makes us look good, it makes us feel good, and it makes us more successful in ways that we would not have been otherwise. Weightlifting has been shown to have positive effects on depression, and I couldn't agree more. This study shows the efficacy of lifting on the mind. We must always strive to be our best selves, and lifting is unequivocally a part of that. By being our best, we show the world what we are made of, and what we are capable of.

If you feel like someone shit in your cornflakes, lift. If you think you aren't worth the flesh you live in, lift. If you feel like you can't change your life, lift. If you believe you can't achieve anything, lift. If you are going to kill yourself, lift.

(In all seriousness, if you are thinking of killing yourself, seek help immediately. Then, go lift.)

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing progress in your life. Real, measurable, progress. What better progress is there than picking up a pile of heavy shit and seeing it for yourself first hand? The answer: None.

Give yourself 6 months. You deserve it.

Never stop.
