STORY TIME

Yesterday I went out to brunch with two female acquaintances whom I known for years. Both post wall.

Topic of online dating came up and one of the girls mentioned how she was doing a bumble challenge. The Bumble challenge was to see how many consecutive dates each day in a row between her and her friend could land. That mean at least once a day they had to land a date from bumble.

The best part is she also dropped how she never asks the guys out and she won't ever make the first move and she won't ever offer to pay.

I responded that she's basically wasting guy's time and using them for money.

Her response....CLASSIC and I'm going to quote with slight paraphrasing:

"No I'm not using guys or wasting their time. I tell them straight up I'm not interested in dating. I'm completely honest. I just want to meet people. I won't go out with them if they never asked. I tell them I'm just opened to meeting people. But I don't want to date or get into a relationship. Its even in my BIO that I'm not interesting in dating (this was a complete lie)"

And I knew her last ex well and it was her fault for choosing to stay with the person after he cheated on her multiple times. Yet she kept going back. No one to blame but herself, but ofcourse she refused to take accountability because the ex was soooo manipulative.

But yea, both these women are 34, both divorced, and both were complaining that they really wanted kids yet this is how they act (still fun to hang with though).

So gentleman be aware of this stuff. Oh and by the way if I showed you pics of these women I'm sure none of you would be interested unless you had beer goggles with a nice dry spell, but that doesn't stop them from having a line of dates set up more then all of us combined on this sub (not joking, they can get a date everyday for a month straight that should tell you something).

You have to setup dates as you will ALWAYS get something out of them. I never go to the same place, I try to set up dates in places I don't know, so I get to know them, and gain experience. Money is just not a problem at my age, I think you are much younger and money might be a problem. If money is a problem you already start in disadvantage, and many girls will bail out just for that. Doesn't matter, use the dates as an adventure, the objective is the place, not the girl.

One thing I've done is that we'd go to the grocery store deli and split a sub sandwich. Get drinks/chips if you want, and then go to a park or something else that's pretty much free. Ice cream, coffee, Jamba Juice are all cheap as well.
