I guess due to getting old I'm getting bad tendonitis in my forearms. Any rp bro advice to get me through this injury? Thanks

Research any type of rehab you can do. Maybe go to a physical therapist, they have helped me in the past. There is always a workaround to injury when lifting.

My wrists have always been an issue too. I find straps make a big difference. I use Cobra Grips and they’ve helped me immensely.
I had the same problem as a drummer for 30 years - had to start strapping up in order to play. It can be really debilitating.

I got was getting this too at first. It's probably because you haven't exercised those muscles in so long. Many-a-guys that come to trp are skinny-fat guys that have never exercised or are dusting off their gears and getting things to working condition. It's because so many guys are BP's and don't put any thought into exercising.

Do a good warm-up first, like 100+ jumping jacks or 20 minutes of cardio. Get the blood flowing. Also make sure you are getting 1 gallon of water a day. Also, I second getting in Omega-3's fatty fish oils. You want to make sure you are getting the right vitamins for your joints and muscles.

I had crazy bad elbow tenonitis. Couldn't open a jar of peanut butter. My physio fixed it in three sessions
Ice the tendon. Heat the muscle on both ends. Deep massage the muscle. Use oil. Get an Indian rubber ball and put it on a table. Put your arm on top of it then massage the muscle wit it
