On tinder, I’ll get called cute. Girls will tell me I’m a pretty boy or cute in person. I’m 5’9, 165. Built and Bearded. Good posture. Carry myself like a man. Tenor voice. Vocal tonality is in check.
But I still get called these things. I’m still able to hook up but I can’t help but think that this cute/pretty boy image I have is hurting me.
What am I overlooking? Are physical features that are out of my control (eg long eyelashes) causing this perception?

Definitely affirm and amplify, develop some playful cockiness about it.
You are worried over a glass mostly full here, but you asked the question, so I'll give you the answer... hot guys beat up cute guys. When you walk into a room, do you seem like an attractive guy that entered the room, or do you command the attention of the room. Most of this has to do with height, musculature, width of features, facial symmetry, bearing - only about half of which you can influence. You might not be the "hot" guy in the room as often as you like, but you can still draw plenty of women.
Also, if you are worrying about your tone and bearing, you are probably telegraphing insecurity. Work on yourself in private, but in public, accept where you are at and just relax, relax, relax.

It could be a lot worse, would you rather be called the opposite? They are giving you compliments.

If you’re bearded and jacked (not lean ripped) and getting called pretty boy it’s your eyes and there’s nothing you can do.
It’s fine. Stop overthinking

They're compliments and IOIs. I get called that all the time by both men and women. I am a doppleganger for Ryan Gosling and get told by at least one person every day I look like him.
I used to also think they were insults and shit tests at first, which they are kind of shit tests, still need to A&A, but they aren't bad things.[

If you really do look like Ryan Gosling how did you end up here? Lol.

Well one obvious thing you can change, do you think someone like Calum Von Moger has been called "Cute"? Pic for reference https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4KfbVxiZOuo/maxresdefault.jpg. Now the guy is very good looking, but girls first instinct isn't to call him cute, it's to call him hot. Get big, you will no longer be considered "cute".

Sounds like you’re insecure. Like if you’re “cute” to them, you think they might treat you worse, or they don’t respect you.
In reality, they’re just complimenting you with the language they’re familiar using. You have a weird hang up about it that you need to work on. Because if you don’t, then it could actually eventually be used against you.

I get called cute too. Way more often than I get called hot. Not sure what the deal is. I’d rather get called hot but it’s not the worst thing in the world. Could be a lot worse.
My guess is because I look kinda young for my age. Not too much facial hair. And I shave every day because my stubble sucks. Whatever man. Don’t worry about it too much.

At a club last week, girl approaches and says you are cute, like really cute..said thanks, made some comment about her shirt being from a thrift shop or older sisters handmedown. Anyway,i fuck her later that night...i progressed into sexual talk about her tits, grab her ass after she later followed me outside and her friends left her alone, was a clear sign to escalate.

Dude it’s not a big deal. I’ve gotten called pretty boy plenty of times- it’s a good thing.
