I'm starting to work out again and I find it most convenient for me to head to my gym at night since it's 24 hours. Am I doing myself an injustice with this? I don't care about getting bigger as much as I do jist being healthy and strong.

It literally doesn’t matter one bit. So long as you’re getting enough sleep and your intensity is there.
There is an argument that morning workouts are better because you haven’t lost any energy from the day’s work or whatever which makes sense, but I do both, and sometimes a post work-workout feels great, like blowing of steam from a tough or frustrating day’s work. Some of my best sessions have been at night and some of my worst have been in the morning. On the other hand I’ve had great morning sessions and sluggish afternoon ones as well.
At the end of the day all that matters is that you trained hard and slept well.

Do it when you can do it and what feels good for you. I do it in my lunchbreak at work.

If you can get good sleep that way, yes. Sleep is crucial, and working out at night severely fucks up my sleep, so I don't do it.

If you’re trying to be an elite athlete, then you need to grasp every edge available to you including what time of day you’re training.
But... You’re just “starting to work out again”. It matters far more that you do it than when you do it.

Studies have shown that 2-3pm is when people have the most energy and their reflexes are at peak levels.
But tbh just make sure you’re getting a good source of glucose before your workout and you shouldn’t feel tired.

I feel stronger during the day and weaker in the morning. Unfortunately, my gym is so crowded that it is almost impossible to get a good workout between 3 and 9 pm. Because of that I sometimes workout late and it is negatively affecting my sleep (can't fall asleep).

According to this article, it would be best to train in the morning if your focus lies on hypertrophy.
