Im a Sophomore in HS wondering how to approach girls at parties? (I'm also a rapper so I could use that to my advantage)

I agree with /u/manwithoutwire
I've moved past coming up with some witty tryhard opener and always just walk up to the girl and say "Hi I'm _____"
Then just go with the flow of the convo and just let it come naturally. I know this doesn't sound helpful but all it takes is practice. I don't have a set blueprint for my approach to a girl.
If she's holding a solo cup then I might ask her what she's drinking. If she has a cool necklace on I might ask her where she got it. After a few minutes, depending on if she's giving IOIs I might try to escalate. If she has a tattoo on her arm or bracelet on her wrist then I might grab her arm and "inspect" it and ask her about it. Don't be afraid to escalate.
If the convo steers towards music then you can mention yours. To be honest I'm not sure how good of a rapper you are. If you think you're good then bring it up but there's a lot of soundcloud rappers your age just fyi.
Dude you're way ahead of the pack if you're coming here as a sophomore in high school. That being said, even if you read the sidebar top to bottom and memorize every last word, there will be a time when you make an ass out of yourself or say some retarded shit to a girl you're trying to game. But guess what? It's all part of growing up and it's a good learning experience.
It's better to be rejected than to not try at all and never find out if you could have banged her.

There's no script needed, no "top 10 pickup lines".
What's you need to do is go out and make your first approaches. Trial by fire
Just say whatever comes to mind, and when in doubt escalate.
