I can tell you, as a fat guy I had a landwhale and a nerdy girl intrested in me when I was fat in my lifetime.
As a skinny guy, I was near anorexic due to some BDD thinking I was still fat, so due to low bodyfat I got like 3 iois per month.
Now as lifting, Id say I have been the happiest so far. I am no longer relying on getting a girl or IOis as hapiness, if I wanted, I could have a girlfriend, but I dont need it. I never had one, (Im 18, and I no longer find it hard to get into a relationship.)
