A Note on Moderation
We are removing new posts from new accounts that are young or have little karma. If you want to ask a question, we suggest you spend some time lurking and entering into discussion first. Spend some time reading the /r/theredpill sidebar.
If you see a troll or problem post, don't engage them but use the REPORT link; this will bring it quickly to the attention of the mod team.
Attention Women, TRP is a male space so the content may seem shocking. Go to /r/redpillwomen to learn Red Pill theory from the female perspective.
Men: RedPillWomen is a female space where you're best off not posting. If you post and cause trouble there, it will follow you back here.

Rational Male, Models, Book of Pook are enough for women-based shit. Work on yourself as a man otherwise.

The Rational Male, without a doubt

Here.
Let me be frank. The opinions of anyone else are not important. Read this whole list. Read the shit out of them and come up with your own answer to that question.
It is your responsibility to make your own decisions. No one here is going to spoonfeed answers to you. We are bits and bytes on the interwebs. Read the books and decide for yourself whether their philosophy and practice works.

Thank you!

Not to mention that after reading at least quarter of the sidebar, you won't learn that much new by reading anymore.
I have been binge reading top posts and whatever for the last three hours and not an ounce of new knowledge has been found.
I should just go out and live.

This applies to everyone. You should digest TRP then leave it alone. Read books but go out and apply your knowledge. I don’t browse TRP anymore. Nothing is new. I spend some time on asktrp, because it’s fun. A lot of people choose to live in TRP, which I think is a trap.

I find, for me, it works best to annotate what I'm reading, and then take a couple weeks to put it into practice. Then I move on to another document and rinse/repeat.
This may or may not work for anyone else, but it's how I roll.

quite frankly internalizing some pretty basic concepts is all you need.
you see?
edit: life is the greatest teacher...reading is cool but everything you need to know is right there in front of you once you grasp some basic concepts..
cirrusice 6y ago
I kinda get this mentality but you need super high SMV for this to happen.
pridebrah 6y ago
You really don't because genuinely internalizing that mindset cultivates an aura that is attractive. It deletes neediness, breeds confidence, and gives an aura of positivity. It doesn't matter if you're working at Walmart and have only been lifting 6 months, the principle should still apply to your mind.

Internalizing and believing it is a great first step to raise said SMV. The manner in which you carry yourself is a big factor.

I have, just looking for something other than that as I see many of the books mentioned and I haven't read most of them.

Read “never split the difference” and “intelligence of hormones”

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F k, by Mark Manson — enlightening.
newls 6y ago
Really? I found it irritating in tone and offering mostly trite advice. Way better books out there.
Shukakun 6y ago
There are lots of good books, but my first and still favorite one is Book of Pook. It doesn't really break any of the standard redpill rules iirc, and it has a very optimistic, positive vibe. I think it's hard if not almost impossible to both internalize that book and stay in the anger phase.

This is the next book on my list. So far if I had to give a recommendation the art of Seduction!!

The Art of War by Sun Tzu
Mein Kampf but Adolf Hitler
On Killing by David Grossman
Columbine by Dave Cullen
The Anarchist Cookbook by William Powell
Lolita by Vladimir Nabakov
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Like it or not, these are great reads.
