You missed a big one.
It is largely pleasurable to everyone I've ever met who has tats. They love the dopamine rush they get during and after, it's like Christmas to them.
Also the pain can be pleasurable for a variety of different reasons: experience, endorphins, exhilaration.

Social media (yes Reddit included...), video games, TV, internet and computers in general, should all be removed from your life at least once, for an appropriate amount of time. I did it for a week and I still remember it...
