Bill Clinton's biological father (Bill Blythe; a bigamist) died in an accident before Bill was born.
So Clinton wasn't calling his own bio dad a deadbeat. He was just bashing men in general.
Or he may have been bashing his step father.

I am not willing to be a step father to any child. And i am neither black nor white.
However, i can understand this from the man's perspective. The kid is even less likely to listen to him than a step child of the same group. I mean step kids will always disrespect their step dads but in this case...
