Nice post, a point to add though, is that you have to play and win **your** game, not hers. I think some people may read this and think they have to play **her** game to win. But in reality, if you play **her** game, you've already lost. Hold Frame, don't bend to hers.

Instead of asking something like "do you want to do X with me on the weekend", you could have reframed it and said "I'm doing X on the weekend, you can come along if you want" that way you are not **providing her** with something to do, you are inviting her to **provide you** with something.
