For anyone confused by this behavior, remember this mantra; "if she really valued a relationship, she'd be in one." It doesn't matter what she says otherwise. Once you realize that, modern female behavior starts to make sense.

I have the same thoughts when I read anything written by women anymore. At first I felt like I must be getting old and out of touch. Now I'm starting to think maybe a lot of women today are so solipsistic and unintelligent that they can only write in a sort of stream-of-consciousness style.
