Banning straws is pretty ridiculous as well.
As is the CA 55 gallon of water use per person or face a fine, upped taxes 3 times for 20-30 cents a gallon making it one of the most expensive in the nation.
Not that either side doesn’t have its own brand of “dumbfuckery” - they both do.

It seems much of that type of thinking seems to stem from that side sadly.
If they don’t like it, they won’t avoid it, they’ll stomp and cry and tell everyone they can’t do it because they don’t like it, while turning a hypocritical blind-eye to their behavior if others don’t like it, ...
