100% agreed. Skiing and Surfing are great for the soul, embed you in really fun communities, add depth and meaning to your life, create opportunities to meet great women, and also give you a sense of comradeship.
Beach volleyball is also amazing.

I'm a software engineer. I work for a corporation. I hate it. But I haven't figured out how to break out. My skillset primarily requires me to work for others. Mainly large corporations. They don't all suck equally. Some are OK to work for. Some not so much. But they all suck your soul away...

Absolutely. I used to just tell girls to meet me at the beach where I was playing ball. They'd come, have a beer, watch me glisten and run around. No cost to me. They were wet by the time I was done. EZPZ.

This is pure truth. I've been an athlete all my life and I very conciously, through diet and exercise choices, make sure that I look and move more like an athlete than a body builder or power lifter. The difference is immense.
