It’s been about two years since I left the forums. Life moved on, I kept spinning plates for a while, and eventually got into a long-term relationship. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on some of the encounters I had after stepping away - the ones that never made it into a post. As I started writing them up, I noticed a lot of recurring dynamics and patterns that go beyond the field reports themselves.
