From what I understand, it seems that they prefer a relationship dynamic where one person holds most of the power. They seem to want to play a secondary role and aren't necessarily looking for equality. In fact, if they do find themselves in an equal relationship, they will seek someone else. Is that the case? Because that goes against my values. If that’s what they are looking for, it feels similar to someone engaging in self-harm behavior, and I’m not willing to be part of that.
