Had a phase or two of monk mode in my life. Right now I’ve just been grinding trying to make sure I finish here w a respectable gpa so I’m set for job hunt and future post grad shit. What I’ve noticed is that when I’m in fullfledged monk mode i damn near isolate myself from the world. No hoes, no friends, just me and my dog and the grind. When I emerge from these phases I always notice I’m a bit more awkward/reserved than my normal outgoing self. Esp w girls (albeit ngl during these times i beat my meat HELLA). It’s like all my normal confidence/shit I’ve learned kinda fades out
