Befriending other night life regulars, buddying up with the dj, being relatively well known, chasing a bit of clout. I like to be relatively unknown, I think it helps on night scenes specially social dancing, so then I can dip in and out or avoid drama from any sort of hassle. But then a lot of people in this scene hop on whoever is popular, you can be 2/10 but if you're a bit well known, it can help.
