Have you ever questioned why male peak SMV is around 35? Rollo will say it's because of financial reasons. I'm not saying it's not, but why? So I looked at a different stat such as the age of first marriage for men. Right now it's age 30.4. But if you look at 1950 it was more like 22 (boomers). What's even crazier is how perfectly women's age of first marriage tracks men's nearly identically and went from 20 to 28 since the 1950s. Perhaps our true evolved peak SMV is 25 for men and 23 for women but because of capitalism men are not economically attractive at that age, delaying their lives
